  1. ^ Be sure to secure it to the wall well. If it would happen to fall & break your computer or hit you in the head requiring a hospital visit, the "define irony" jokes would be endless.

  2. I joined this website when I was 15 years old, at the time I was obsessed with the park - visiting the park was one of my favorite past times. It's still a place I love dearly, but I don't visit as often. The first event I ever went on through this website was an off-season construction tour of the Italian Job: Stunt Track. Since 2005, life has changed for me quite a bit and with it so has KICentral.com. I've had the opportunity to meet many great people through this site - many of whom became close personal friends, helped me professionally or are friends I don't get to see as often anymore. I have a lot of great memories because of KICentral. Even my roommate is a friend I made through this website. Even though it took him forever to purchase a bed and he lived off the couch in our living room for a month and a half, he's still one of my best friends in this world. By the way, Boddah1994 - the power bill came today and I texted you the price. Over the years, people grow up and priorities change. Life takes different paths. I'm not involved with this site as much as I used to be in the past. I went from filling the online galleries here to not posting at all for some time while I shot photographs for other pursuits. Other folks got "real" jobs, got married, moved or just lost interest. Regardless, KIC events were always a good time and meeting people from the forums, even those I often disagreed with, was always nice. Even though times have changed, I'm glad to see KIC users still get together and share their interest in the park and have a good time. I ran into a bunch of the "next generation" of members while briefly visiting the park this past weekend. It was a pleasure running into you guys. You were all very friendly and I hope you all had a nice visit to the park. Thanks for keeping the KICentral tradition alive and well!

  5. EDIT: And for whoever is wearing the Crypt shirt, you're awesome. Ahem, I think what you mean to say is "Whoever is wearing the Doctor Whooves shirt, you're awesome". Don't worry, it's an understandable mistake.

  6. This is who I think is who, from left to right: jcgoble, ???, ohiocolts, malem?, MotherofOcolts, Beastie. If I got it totally wrong, I apologize. The only one I am certain about is Beastie, for obvious reasons. EDIT: And for whoever is wearing the Crypt shirt, you're awesome.

  7. Splashin' Safari. The county auditor does. Their auditor's website even has a handy map that lets you click on individual parcels and see who owns each one: http://spencer.in.wthgis.com/ (Just zoom in and start clicking the parcels you're curious about) You can also do this for Warren, Erie, and beyond!

  10. ^ It was a waste the first time it was brought up. Sorry BF56. Comparing an '87 Arrow looper to an '09 B&M anything is as black & white as you can get. Oh yeah, welcome to KIC! As was politely mentioned, use the search feature. Regurgitating the same material over & over creates confusion. Keep it simple.

  15. I would first like to welcome you to KIC and second, I'm sure your question has been asked more than enough times on KIC. But to answer your question, I guess it depends on what you look for in a roller coaster. Just for a helpful tip, Most questions like you asked go in the Polls section.

  16. I would love to see Boo Blasters scrapped and rebuilt into a new "Peanuts" themed dark ride. It could span the original space that the Smurf ride used to use. Westcoaster mentioned a Snoopy dark ride based on the holidays. This reminds me of the Smurf ride. I think that would be a great idea. It could be based on some of the classic scenes from the Peanuts' holiday specials like Christmas, Halloween, Valentines Day, etc. We've all seen those specials, it would be fun to ride a dark ride and experience them in full animatronic form. What would be even more fun, is if they put the boats back in instead of the conveyor belt system. This is just me dreaming of course, but I'd love to see something like this in the future!

  28. Well Diamondback starts with a "D", and Vortex starts with a "V". So alphabetically..... I'm going with Diamondback. My 46 year old neck agrees!

  38. I love the smell of dark rides! They all have a certain smell. I remember it when I was younger from riding the Smurfs and then in Phantom Theater. Even the dark rides at places like Disney World have that same smell. I can't really describe it. Maybe it's the smell of the animatronics, I don't really know. That is the smell that brings back a lot of memories for me!

  40. I was told once that it was dairy run off from one of the food vendors, it goes down a drain close to AE. At first I was offended, but now I think I just accept it as the Curse of the Tikis. It's part of the ride. One time there was the added bonus of that smell, and skunk. Someday I'll ride it and it'll smell sweet, then I'll be confused.
