In my opinion, The Racer isn't going anywhere unless something tramatic happens to it, or someone riding it. The Racer is a classic; a staple in the Coney Mall area of the park. I don't see KI removing it any time soon.9 points

@KingsIslandPR reminding you that we are just 10 Saturday's, or 69 days, away until Opening Day!! "@KingsIslandPR: 10 Saturdays. #KIOpeningDay 2015 http://t.co/Qg4eW9o2l6" https://twitter.com/kingsislandpr/status/5640724725225390105 points

I've always thought it would be neat, if Kings Island had its own hotel again, to build a coaster that you would get on just outside of the hotel, and you could ride it into the park. Have two stations - like the train - one at the hotel, one in the park. Imagine not having to walk, or drive to the park, just "thrill ride" your way into it! What a perk that would be for staying in the hotel.4 points

The Racer is incredibly iconic in the amusement industry and an ACE landmark. I don't believe the coaster will be removed or altered.4 points

1. Since this is a "what I want" and not "what I expect", I voted Intamin but to make it clearer, a Plug-N-Play wooden coaster like El Toro @ SFGadv or Colossos @ Heide Park. (No offense to their Gigas, Stratas, and Blitz coasters) as I'd like to see Kings Island have a modern wooden coaster and possibly even re-try the "Hyper Wooden Coaster" concept as I find the idea of a 200'+ wooden coaster awesome (it kinda sucks that SOB failed so badly as the concept alone was actually pretty cool). But I don't see it happening since Cedar Fair and Intamin are not on the best of terms. (Though to be fair, I'd more than welcome MANY of the other options listed) 2. 24 Hours in the Eiffel Tower? Ehh, no...I'd likely get bored after an hour, and then the remaining 23 would be torture. 3. I don't recall the exact month, but it was in the Summer of 2000 because SOB was new. It would be 9 years before I returned, however...though that would still be in the same bracket. 4. As it is the only one I have ever ridden, Boo Blasters has to get my vote. But note this- I'm 90% sure one ride on either Enchanted Voyage or Phantom Theatre and that changes. But I'd probably need a time machine to do that... Also I think I see an error- I'm pretty sure Smurf's Enchanted Voyage debuted in 1984, alongside King Cobra, not 1982. I think I remember it being on that year's map or something.4 points

Thank you! Liking this area so far. More country feeling here with Horses and such. Far enough from the cities to relax but close enough to play when the need arises. The business owner called me this evening to thank me for joining his company. Very happy with my decisions so far. First item of business once settled? Busch/SeaWorld pass. Kumba, here I come.3 points

It's a 3 in one deal: Advertise for the Kings Dominion, show how similar it is and how much fun can be had here as well. Advertise for Kings Island, the thrills and fun of Kings Dominion, and so much more are to be had here. Advertising for Hanna-Barberra, show off their characters and that one could experience all of their favorite childhood favorites at both parks. It's a simple yet very strategic aim to get guests from Virginia and the surrounding areas to come to both properties.3 points

The park may have "classic woodies covered" but we still lack a GCI type wooden roller coaster. I'm not complaining though, I do LOVE all 3 of the woodies at Kings Island, I just wish we had a nice GCI at the park to REALLY draw me. Six Flags St. Louis has a PERFECT example of a quality and diverse wooden coaster lineup, as I've stated on this site before. The Boss. Screamin' Eagle. And last but of course not least..... American Thunder. THAT'S a diverse wooden roller coaster lineup. FTW, resident SFStL fanatic and strong believer that that park is severely underappreciated.3 points

I rode the Smurf's Enchanted Voyage in its final years. I was very young at the time and also wasn't a fan of dark rides (they frightened me), so I probably wasn't of the mindset to appreciate it. It took me a while to warm up to the Phantom as well, but once I did, it was a staple of every visit to the park.3 points

^ By design, a WiFi hotspot covers a much smaller area than a cell tower. A park-wide network would involve a large number of strategically placed & configured access points.3 points

My first thought was: wow that's a really cool idea My second more adult thought was: man that would be a logistics nightmare about making sure everyone had tickets and got their hands stamped for reentry, would that be 1 coaster or two....2 points

Sitting in a hotel in Ocala at the moment. Today I accepted a job that doubles my pay and put a deposit down on a house. Gotta head back to KY in the morning. Got ten days to pack up the house and get back down here. Can't wait to hit the Coasters. Bummer I missed a second chance at Gwazi, just kidding.2 points

I think all I'd like to see is the Phantom Theater Props/Animatronics used somewhere in the Park. I really don't care where but find something to do with them then just leave them in storage unseen unless you work there. Maybe during Haunt you could break a few out and put them on Boo Blasters or on display somewhere. Maybe put the Maestro back in his balcony for Haunt only. I dont know just a personal opinion.2 points

1. Classic Wooden Coaster 2. It would be a maybe on the Eiffel Tower, because it does ge cold up there. 3. I was born in 96 and every year since then I have been going. 4.Phantom Theater and Scooby Doo and the Haunted Castle were ver close, but I have to pick Scooby Doo, because its my favorite cartoon, and I own all the movies on DVD, but I still miss the Phantom Theater. Great poll, keep 'em coming.2 points

Thank you Don! That'a great to know. If my Science Olympiad team makes it to Nationals this year, that's the weekend when it would be. However we won't find out until mid April so I'm glad to hear I'll still be able to buy tickets if we end up not qualifying. I'll still get a coaster club membership soon too since I'll be using it for other events like Coastermania. Better to be safe than sorry.2 points

Yes. It is a themed gun range. Kind of unique. Ive never shot a machine gun. Might be interesting to try.1 point

I decided to make another poll. For the second question, which is kind of an odd one, you would be able to to have food, water (etc.). Enjoy!1 point

During the early days of Top Gun the queue line extended under the station where you viewed props from the movie "Top Gun' such as planes, radars, etc. But eventually after years of that in the early to mid 2000s (cant think of the actual year) they closed it off and then you just walked through what you walk through now. During the "Flight Deck" era the planes stayed until late 2013 when we all knew that a change was coming. Don't know why they removed the queue underneath the Station. I guess "The Bat" just didnt need that. Its similar to how Vortex's queue is the Original Bat's queue. It's themed to be a Gothic Castle but it does The Vortex alright, except it used to be Orange not The Vortex Blue. Also it's similar to how Boo Blasters on Boo Hill's queue is the exact queue as Phantom Theater. They kept the Maestro's Balcony and the Chandeliers and also the spooky borded up faces except they took out their Phantom look and atmosphere. Also another remnant. When "The Bat" gets back to the Station look down and you'll see the Number 41 painted on there to resemble an Aircraft Carrier. I recommended to Kings Island that they should use the Phantom Theater Animatronics on either "The Bat" or "Banshee". At least they could play the music. I think the Gargoyle would be perfect in "The Bat's" queue line. He could tease you like the Maestro.1 point

1. I don't remember what I picked because it really doesn't matter to me. I like most coasters I've ever ridden, and have found appreciation for some I initially didn't like. So, they're all great options with me. 2. Yes (if I had restroom privileges) but it would have to be for a good reason. Every time I go up there I am pretty much ready to come back down a minute later. I like the view from Drop Tower better, not so much pressure to enjoy it. 3. 1972-1979 I presume. I was born in 1976, so I don't remember but chances are very high my family took me at least once in those four summers. Wouldn't put it past them taking me in '76 after I was born in July. I don't have any memories predating '81 tho. 4. I picked Phantom Theater. However, I do like what they did to the outside of the building when they changed from it.1 point

I voted a few hours ago and here's what I chose: 1. B&M, specifically I was thinking of a B&M Floorless at the time I made my decision. 2. Nope. 3. 1990-1999 (probably early/mid 90's or so...) 4. Scooby because I never rode Phantom Theatre and I have fond memories of Scooby-Doo and the Haunted Castle.1 point

Yea probably just a matter of time before we get something from Triotech and Boo Blasters location would be the most likely. But I'm still hoping that they put something with them in a new location like the old Crypt Building or Action Theatre, and then convert Boo Blasters into a Peanuts dark ride. Then we'll have two dark rides in the park and Peanuts can be kept to the simple cutouts or cheap figures and still look decent.1 point

Pop-Punk / Metalcore / Post-Hardcore Those are the three main specific sub-genres that take up virtually all the music I like to listen to. They differ slightly but are all inherently related for how heavy and melodic they are, to varying degrees (bands such as A Day To Remember and Four Year Strong cleverly incorporate characteristics from all three of those sub-genres). Not only do I love how heavy and melodic these kinds of music are, but another thing I generally love about it is how creative and compelling the lyrics can be (and in some cases, shocking!). Senses Fail is one of the best I've listened in making such lyrics... A Complete list of bands in my iTunes library would be: All Time Low (early), Avenged Sevenfold, Blink-182, Brand New, Bullet For My Valentine, A Day To Remember, Fall Out Boy(early), Four Year Strong, From First to Last, Man Overboard, Metallica, New Found Glory, Rise Against, Rush, Saves The Day, Senses Fail, The Starting Line, State Champs, The Story So Far, Sum 41, Taking Back Sunday, The Wonder Years, Yellowcard. I'd have to say that Led Zeppelin, although I don't really listen to them that much, is a band that I respect immensely. When people say "the music you listen to today probably happened because of the Beatles", in my case I disagree. Personally, if there was a band back in the day that I would give major credit to in terms of influencing the music I listen to, I think my kind of music would correlate a lot more to Led Zeppelin's music than the Beatles...But that's just me... Yeah I'm not a fan of country, rap, or hip hop either. However the "angry" music you're describing ironically would make up a considerable portion of my music library. What's funny is that sometimes music I listen that I don't even consider to be "angry" would sound "angry" to the common ear, but not to mine...1 point

My genre of choice has always been, and will probably always be classic rock. My earliest musical memory was the Elvis animatronic at Jungle Jim's. That antiquated old robot introduced me to Elvis's music, and my taste basically started there and moved outward. I collect vinyl and while my love is more for the format than the content, I'm naturally going to be inclined toward the music that is most readily and affordably available on that format, and that also pushes me toward classic rock. Growing up, my family listened almost exclusively to Country radio stations, so while I don't listen to much new country, country from the 90's and 00's fills a big chunk of my iPod (which I also still use religiously because while I have an unlimited data plan on my smartphone, all of the popular streaming services use really nasty compression that makes music sound like garbage. But I digress). It's easier to count the genres that I don't like than the ones I do. Generally. I'm not a fan of rap/hip-hop/whatever they're calling it this week. There are some songs in that genre that I enjoy, but they're few and far between. I'm definitely not a fan of electronic music (techno, dubstep, and other such things). I'm not going to say that there's NOTHING in that genre that I'd enjoy, but if it's out there, I've yet to find it. And I don't typically like any modern pop. So basically, I shy away from Top 40 stations. Most things that are a little more obscure, I like. I really don't even think it's necessarily that I think modern, popular music is bad. It's just that, being popular, Top 40 singles get a lot of airplay and I get sick of hearing them almost immediately. I've been on a big alternative kick lately, so a lot of Paramore, Evanescence, Flyleaf, Fireflight, Skillet, etc. Prior to that, I was on a big Muse kick, thanks in part to Ed Alonzo. I also really like orchestrated music, especially film, TV, and video game scores. Just as long as it's not Pachelbel's Canon. I played Tuba in High School band, and as such, I'd be more than content to never hear that wretched tune again as long as I live.1 point

Gosh, that's a tough one. Depends on what day it is for me. Seriously, one minute I'm jamming Andy Grammer, then classic Rush, then Vince Gill. So, "Poprogountry."1 point
