  1. Sand box? Oooo! I am guessing it'll be like Dragonflier at Dollywood. Honestly, it's such a good ride, so it'd be great to have it at KK.
  2. Not the moose, but I did try the blue ice cream fudge push pops (say that 10x fast) and it was really good.
  3. The press release shares that it will definitely have animatronics.
  4. I've always called it blue ice cream and have never heard anyone naturally say any other name in person.
  5. I do find this exciting, while disappointed that the "shooter" aspect will remain. I'm hopeful for the tech/storyline can hold up year after year (I think it will, but have seen how BBOBH went downhill after several years). The storyline seems solid and I'm excited to see how it expands the original.

  7. Yup...that's basically why I'm saying it's not going to amount to much.
  8. I doubt it'll amount to anything "worthwhile." Why hide it behind a fence with screening if people riding Diamondback can see it from above. Likely a queue or something to do with what's coming into The Crypt building.
  9. Okay that is cute. Thanks for sharing! Mason did change the way they are shared. I had emailed and they now list the permits filed for the month....so if it was filed in June, you won't see it until July, July in August and so on. The information is not as good, but it's good enough for info.
  10. If anyone at the park this coming weekend can take pics of this, I missed it and would love to see.
  11. Any time I actually want it, the line is too long and I don't want to wait.
  12. @Oldiesmann has shared that a lot of the rides this evening had high wait times and he waited longer than the posted time for Mystic Timbers.
  13. Mason has changed the way their permits are available to the public online. They go by month. July was the last update....so assuming around the first part of September the permits for August will be viewable.
  14. Carowinds adjusted hours of Winterfest to close by 7pm. What a waste...not worth a trip for me.
  15. I will say, it does match the artwork of the other rides in the Jungle-X area...probably should have sprung for different fiberglass body shapes though.
  16. Bring back the Cirque shows or similar to Phantom Theater Encore. No more music revues.
  17. I got this shirt on Sunday after seeing your pic!
  18. I had thought about going over to ride RR on Sunday since it was quite hot....decided it wasn't worth going to get my swim stuff from the car, head over to Soak City to change, buy a locker and then do the reverse after the ride.
  19. I went for the 2nd time last month....it was as I remembered it....only worth staying for a max of 3 hours....lasted 2.5. Operations were awful...one train ops on the coasters that were open. Firebird went down for guest illness at 11:15....wasn't back up and running until 12:45. Batwing was down....Superman was great but one train ops with lackluster dispatches made a 2nd ride not viable. Wonderwoman's swing (the funtime sky flyer) was down....many other rides down too. The best part of my visit honestly was the SLC.
  20. Conneaut Lake Park's Carousel is a goregous one...well was when they took care of it. This carousel was tragically awful but great at the same time. @XGatorHead 8904
  21. TBH those people who anticipated a drop track without any physical evidence (especially overtop of the train track) set themselves up for disappointment. A drop track would have been cool, but not once in my mind did I think it was going to happen.
