  1. I'm chopping that up to the quality of the filming....it's just grass that has been cut....must have been pretty high.
  2. Welcome back @gforce1994 did Mr. Showalter ask you to post this? To be fair, @brenthodge said "If only Kings Island put this much thought into promoting their product..." While yes, there was coverage, that doesn't mean the park really promoted it. OOO yay, people talked about it at Coastermania? You mean enthusiasts talking about things happening at the park, not passive people who would want/need a reason to visit the park. And Columbus region? Don't say that so fast. I live in the region, never saw it on the news, a quick google search under "news" nothing on the first 6 pages from a Columbus news affiliate. Has anything news worthy (aside from the Banshee incident), about the park made it outside of Ohio on a news site?
  3. It’s been shared on Facebook and the like.
  4. Why? Half of the people call it fast pass anyway.
  5. I personally am not surprised. I do know one of the two people you mentioned that he spoke to, is in operations. You are not the wrong in the least about the door remaining closed. Best of luck to you, I can't imagine the situation you've been put in. Also: Cedar Point - At approximately 5 p.m., a guest entered a... | Facebook
  6. In each of their regions, the names outside of Six Flags doesn't matter. Friends of mine near Six Flags Great Adventure don't call it that, they call it "Six Flags." On a Six Flags Over Georgia group on Facebook, members call it "Six Flags" instead of Six Flags Over Georgia. Branding the CF parks "Six Flags _____" would give that brand recognition across the country. Enthusiasts sure would know Kings Island, Worlds of Fun, etc. but how many of the general public of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma have to ask "what is Kings Island?" While yes, people can google amusement parks near me, that doesn't do much to draw audiences in if they don't have a recognizable brand.
  7. Still dealing with this. I noticed that the right side bar is also extremely long....if you scroll down all the way, the space where the different threads/topics are becomes empty and there are a few ads on the side bar and then recent posts below as well. Occasionally an ad will pop up and will be the entire screen with the ad taking approximately 2x5 in the center.
  8. Haha, I'm too old for this new fangled stuff But very very interesting Nitro paint scheme!
  9. I'm a bit naive when it comes to this, but what's the difference? The person who posted these said
  10. Found these screenshots from the Six Flags Metaverse: Source: https://www.facebook.com/groups/sfgadvconnoisseurs/permalink/7400241280084767 What's interesting to me, looks like Carowinds' "Copperhead Strike" has made it's way into the Six Flags merger!
  11. I made this when WindSeeker's opening kept getting pushed:
  12. Are you talking about the former Wild Cat? If so, completely different ride, manufacturer and ride car.
  13. My problem with the new Cedar Fair apps is that to look for wait times, you have to change from the map view to list view and then filter out into rides and then to coasters. Too many steps for what should be a simple click.
  14. I think they'll stick around for at least the decade barring any unforeseen circumstances. I do hope though in the future Mondial upgrades the restraints/programming to show what actual seat is not locked.
  15. I had no idea this page existed. I always saw it on the KD or Carowinds websites, but never KI. I'm glad it's there.
  16. The problem is that @Tr0y had already passed a handful of operators, assumingly including the one who checked his restraint and a different overzealous ride op went out of their way to check for a strap even though he had already been locked in, etc. It's not really a loose article if it's not a requirement to have a glasses strap. If it's a singular ride op "trying to be more thorough about guest safety," the ride op needs to know the actual policies.
  17. But it's not a thing at Banshee unless they literally just implemented it and failed to tell anyone but that 1 ride op.
  18. Water coaster please. Moosehorn Falls seems like one of the slides at Zoombezi Bay....it's okay...nothing amazing.
  19. I just wish they'd get shows out of Festhaus...I understand them being indoor, but I really hate that the performers are doing their thing and half of the venue is trying to eat and talk to their pals. It seems like a disservice to them.
