  1. Lucy can step in to help (sort of)!
  2. Man, I don't know. I literally just said that quality control, consistency, throughput fails almost every single operating day at these parks already. It's highly unlikely that these things are going to improve with the way things are going so far with the merger. I know when I've ordered food at a Legacy Six park, I experience the same things....it's not like all the sudden they are going to care to make these things better. They're going to keep going with the model they're already doing.
  3. Plus quality control, consistency, throughput fails almost every single operating day at these parks. We see, not only on KIC but through other methods, people complain about the portion sizes, quality of food, the wait times, etc. I've often went to guest services or talked with a supervisor about the portions or quality of the food when getting a meal in park. Sometimes it gets fixed, sometimes it doesn't. It's only a challenge if they choose to look at it that way....but often they look at it as "we've got your money...doesn't matter."
  4. I may have already shared this, but the fact that merch pricing has increased a ton over the past season and a half is insane to me. A hoodie at KI that was shared with me was $77. $77!!!!!! Why?!?! It's not Under Armor, Nike, Adidas, etc. it's a generic brand. WTH? Over the past 2 seasons, my in park spending has went way down...because the pricing has went up...the merch isn't worth the cost to me. Usually every visit to any given park, I buy something. This season, 14 times so far at CP, 4 at KI. 1 at KD, 1 at SFA....I have bought 3 shirts. 2 at CP (limited edition 4th of July and a Clearance shirt) and 1 at KD. Other merch purchased = none. The pricing is out of touch IMO and I refuse to spend the extra cash on it.
  5. It's quite sad that part of the park is MIA with the graphic over top of it.
  6. It won't be an RMC.....Mack track is on site.
  7. They'd have to reconfigure the front gate/drop off area...plus where would the trams stop? I don't remember where they stopped in the parking lot. At this point of time, it would seem like a higher liability than it previously did. Maybe not...but at least KI is fairly flat compared to SDC and the parking lot is just right there. Trams used to pull right up to the front gate: Found on Flikr from David Bowers
  8. True...but I don't believe Cedar Fair or Six Flags at the time knew what 2025 would have instore for the companies....nor did Cedar Fair feel like they could sell it, despite reliability with the service life being at or toward the end.
  9. Plus, Firehawk had "reached the end of it's service life" meaning it was likely not for sale.
  10. Honestly, I'm okay with this. I feel like at this point, Peanuts has rightfully be engrained into the legacy CF parks and it'd be odd to see them leave. I do hope that there is some integration of Peanuts into the legacy Six Flags parks and the other IPs integrated into the legacy CF Parks.
  11. I've only been to SDC once and if I remember correctly, there haven't been trams or anything in the past....it was a trek to the front gate when I visited. Dollywood is hilly, but SDC is even more so and their parking lot(s) are a bit treacherous from what I remember. Edit to add - I looked back at some info from 2021 and there apparently were shuttle busses. During my visit, I didn't see or know about them.
  12. I miss having paper maps. While I do not necessarily use them while in park (especially if I've been to the park quite often), it's a nice thing to look back at after a visit to remember the day. Holiday World still offers paper maps I believe. Last year they began to phase out. I actually just printed a copy of my qr code and taped it onto a previous pass, so I could use a physical pass instead of my phone.
  13. Chad entered the chat ;-) I, like @marineman, felt it was on borrowed time. Actually, I had been hoping for it would have left years earlier. While I'm not the target demographic for the ride, I definitely started to see the lack of care for the ride early on after the switch to BBOBH.
  14. Sorry, got carried away.
  15. I think the Single Use that is part of the Prestige Pass is supposed to be any ride with Fast Lane. However, you can only buy single Fast Lane uses for certain rides.
  16. I've been to CP 14 times so far this season and there have been 0 food trucks. For Halloweekends there may be some. They have done okay in the past, but the regular park restaurants have longer lines.
  17. It's more about the vendors themselves. If a vendor doesn't make $ they either will leave early (if possible) or not come back the following day. I've done a lot of work with food truck vendors within festivals and they are very particular on how much traffic/money they have. If they don't accept a meal plan, those with meal plans are less likely to patronize their truck. Now, there could be additional folks who don't have meal plans that utilize the food trucks, but is it sustainable for them?!? Just thinking out loud.
  18. The problem with that is that they don't accept meal plans...so how much money would the food truck vendors bring in? I know there are folks that do not have the dining plans, but every time I've seen a food truck in the park, they've not had a line.
  19. I found out that one of my friends helped design PT:ON and from what I do know based on that, it'll be quality.
  20. Any pics of the fence with posters?
  21. My guess is by mid Halloween Haunt.
