  1. Exciting news for Dorney! The park PR team has knocked it out of "the park" with their updates this off season!
  2. Of course, someone that doesn't work for the park, shares the news instead of the Kings Island Team. Waste of space imo. I love to have a drink or two when I'm at a park, but this isn't something that I feel like I have to get to KI for. Mac n Cheese bar, sure.
  3. Good Gravy has officially began testing per Holiday World Facebook!!!!
  4. Thankfully I have a major discount for that night
  5. Just checked the hotel I'm staying at and it's sold out for April 8th. Wanted to see if I could add a day on (the 7th) and the night had jumped to over $450! Crazy!
  6. Those seem like really awesome opportunities! I did a Voyage track tour back in 2017 (I think) it was enjoyable!
  7. There were blue ice cream crazy mason jar milkshakes at KI if I remember correctly....how available they were though... They do have blue ice cream fudge, have had various blue ice creams flavored things in the past.
  8. When the park first added the buffet in the IR for Winterfest, it was great. I can't tell you after the first year or two, when they switched to a menu that featured things that most people have never heard of. That was a turn off for me and I could see families not wanting to spend the $ to go up there for food they may or may not eat. It would be great if they could figure out a menu that isn't so exotic but not the typical chicken tenders/burger type either. A happy medium would be great. Eating up there and watching over I-Street is always a joy. Festhuas is a different breed. I really don't like that they have shows in there. But this isn't about that.....so food. Panda Express is just okay. The remainder of the food is food court food. I still would like to see a renovation like Harmony Hall at Carowinds. Aren't we supposed to have something like Pigpen's Mess Hall?
  9. On top of that the team at Dorney has done an amazing job covering enhancements/the installation of Iron Menace.
  10. I know of about 10 families that did not renew Cedar Fair passes and bought Dollywood passes instead.....
  11. Part 2: Issue is mostly placement where the ads are, they get prioritized over threads and content I know I can click the arrow to minimize on either pc or mobile, but it only does that on that page. Each new page, you have to redo it.
  12. Wanting to see if anyone else has the same issues with ads: On PC: First pic - ad showing more than the threads Second pic: when trying to multiquote, the button for quoting that normally would be at the bottom right disappeared due to the ad. Third pic: Ad covers content in theads. Will share issues on mobile.
  13. It's amazing how simple, yet how effective something like this could be.
  14. Yes....I've only been a few times and I've not necessarily felt unsafe, but I felt something. Not to mention operations are extremely awful.
  15. What was the FunFact Friday? Must be so fun, that it's not really out there. When I saw the colors, I had to think "Runaway Reptar" though the track was yellow and the supports were green.
  16. The short description of the event itinerary (without actual exact things listed), looked to be an almost exact replica of Coasterstock.
  17. Truthfully, IMO, I think if possible, Six should move the rides/assets worth anything to other parks and shut SFOG down. With the continuous issues the park has with security and the like, it seems like the best option. I mean, I don't see the park turning around.
  18. I know looks are deceiving of renderings, but in the announcement video it showed like the back of the park was to be lit up as well, including the ferris wheel. Again, could just be renderings, but I'd hope they'd transform the whole park...that front section isn't big enough IMO.
  19. If they'd utilize the boats just for transportation that'd be a win. If they opened the island, that'd be a win....I mean they had Provisions, the new bathrooms, the play structure....seems silly to let those just sit after investment. I'd rather see something open there.
  20. Yes, it was in the works before and then quietly faded away to nothingness and then BOOM.
  21. While there aren't a lot of "stock designs" on the lists in previous years, you can almost consider rides like Dr. Diabolical's Cliffhanger or Tumbili "off the shelf" or "standard layouts" that made some sort of "the most anticipated"/"exciting new ride lists", etc. I'm not sure if there was a list of most anticipated rides for attractions like Sol Spin/Cargo Loco..but if there was, would the hype actually be there to make it on that list? It's not just you. And to answer your question, I highly doubt it, but if you did know about it, it would be well after the fact of die hard fans finding out. Golden Ticket Awards are funny in my book. I often disagree with the winners and know several who do as well. It's a "popularity" contest that only a few get to vote in. It'd be more of a benefit if a wider audience got to vote.
  22. Sorry for the double post but: Cedar Point closing Snake River Expedition boat ride for 2024 | wkyc.com
  23. I would love this....would be nice to have 2 docks...one in Camp Snoopy and then one near Professor Dilbert's.
