Weather is looking great this year - upper 70s with a slight chance of rain. Not quite warm enough for the pool in my opinion, but still beats the heat and humidity that's typical for this time of year.

Side-scrolling bug in the KICentral theme

For Cookie Clicker saves, just post them in code boxes... (click the <> button in the bottom row, choose "None" for the syntax type and paste the save into the big box). That should make it behave more nicely. -
I've been to KI a handful of times this year, and to me it actually seems busier this year than last year, which is of course to be expected. I went on a Monday a couple of weeks ago and the place was packed. By mid-afternoon, Beast had a 40-minute wait and BLSC, FoF and Firehawk were all estimated 60-minute waits. Diamondback was also about a 40 minute wait around that same time. Granted, it was probably partly due to the weather (cooler temps, less humidity and a good chance of rain the next day), but even so, I was a bit surprised to see the park that busy on a Monday afternoon in early June.

If it's mentioned on their site, they probably do. I'd suggest calling and asking Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S3 using Tapatalk

I assume you're referring to this?

Another thing to consider is that at one time, Beast had buzz bars and no seatbelts. I'm sure it would seem much wilder with much less holding you down. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S3 using Tapatalk

At least one of the songs played at BLSC last year was "Sway" by Michael Bublé Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S3 using Tapatalk

A few comments on this article... First, there's the whole "The Banshee" thing... Secondly, what the heck is "The Vertigo"? Finally, the employee who didn't want to be named. Likely someone not authorized to talk to the media. While I can't see the park getting upset about this, since they were just saying what was going on as far as guest reactions, they probably shouldn't be saying anything to the media... The camping lantern was likely a teaser for the dino event that was recently announced. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S3 using Tapatalk

Sounds similar to my thoughts on working during Riverfest, though Balloon Glow isn't nearly as crazy. If I see you I'll try to say hi. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S3 using Tapatalk

And in Louisville, parts of 265 still have distances shown in km on the signs (apparently another thing that's stuck around from the attempt to convert the US to metric) Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S3 using Tapatalk

Someone check to see if there's a "Raven Maven" account here Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S3 using Tapatalk -
As far as traffic circles go, West Chester has done that in some areas (don't remember where exactly), and the Indianapolis suburb of Carmel has gone nuts with them. I've never understood why they're not as common here in the US. They seem to work well overseas. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S3 using Tapatalk

Whether or not a ride remains open during rainy weather is largely dependent on safety mechanisms. Those in charge of making the decisions regarding whether or not to operate a ride know what they're doing. Even FoF has been known to shut down during thunderstorms. The media didn't pick it up because the park's newest and greatest ride being stuck on the lift hill is much more interesting to the GP than increased security.

My dad and I waited 2 hours for FoF its opening year. The line was all the way back to Coney Mall. We didn't actually believe the signs though, until we got inside the hangar. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S3 using Tapatalk

For Those Who Have Been To Holiday World...

Thanks for the water park tips. That has made my plans for hitting it on my trip in August a bit clearer - spend Saturday doing as much as I can in the main park and spend Sunday at the water park. That should give me enough time to re-ride the coasters and anything else I want to do before I head home that night, and being 10 minutes away, I won't have to worry about it being too crowded when I get there -
Interesting. It wasn't like that on Monday - they just had those metal panels around the center removed. I'm guessing there's some sort of motor replacement going on.

SRR has been closed at least since Monday. I was mildly disappointed as that's one of my favorite flat rides at the park.

The only time "most accurate" seems to matter in the news media is when it comes to weather forecasts, and even then, when there's severe weather, they go back to emphasizing who brought it to you first and/or who has the most advanced weather radar technology. One station here used to boast about having radar feeds from Evansville and Fort Wayne.

I went to Planet Snoopy Grill on Monday and was able to get a 4-piece Chicken Tender meal there with my season pass. I don't know if that's how many they usually give you or not, but that's what I got when I told them I wanted the season pass chicken tender meal.

I prefer a frosty mug of IBC at Cracker Barrel or a frosty mug of the stuff from Root Beer Stand in Sharonville. The stuff from Culver's is good too, though I don't think they server it in frosty mugs.
