Mack looping trains look cooler than Premier's.

^And the badly designed paths leading up to the equally badly designed bridge on the entrance side of the park.

KK has no hilly terrain, it's all flat.

Upon further review- it sounded like the guard was saying that cameras weren't allowed on the rides/roller coasters (the last word he said as it cut out started with an 'r' to me). I guess the cameraman took that as a no cameras in the park spiel.
-
I'm pretty sure that's an isolated incident considering I brought my phone which has a camera into the park on both my visits so far this season. The park's FAQ doesn't mention a camera ban either.

I promise you SOB and Diamondback in the rain were/are way worse, the former in more ways than 1.

KI currently has the 3rd most amount of inversions of any park in the world at 25 (CP at 2 with 28 and SFFM at 1 with 36).

The coaster building wars from back in the early 2000s are over. There isn't a pressing need for any park to keep building bigger and faster, especially if the projected ROI isn't there to back up an urge for a park to build something like a giga. SIX learned that lesson the hard way. Kings Island has done fine without having to 'keep up' with Cedar Point, regardless if they've been in the same ownership or not. I personally don't want to see Kings Island copy CP verbatim in terms of ride collection. Banshee, Diamondback and Timbers were built because those were major holes in our line up compared to what the GP expects out of a park of Kings Island's size in today's environment. However, I think KI has the luxury of being able to be more unique in their selection from here on out in terms of thrilling coasters. I think KI needs to bolster their intermediate ride collection at this point, like a few family coasters and some flats.

No, we're saying to consider all the other likely possibilities as well and don't exclusively focus on a giga. I can think of quite a few things that could come instead of a giga. Personally, I think KI needs to put a bit more focus on the intermediate range of guests, stuff in between what you find in Planet Snoopy and the coasters that are in the 48" height restrictions, like a Mack wild mouse or a Vekoma family coaster. In terms of the next thrilling coaster, there's things like B&M floorless, a ground up RMC, a Mack or Premier launch coaster, etc. to choose from as well. Think outside the giga box just because CW, KD and Carowinds got 'em.

Personally, I wouldn't mind seeing a launch coaster with a bit more umph than FoF and Backlot at Kings Island. Backlot is more of a family ride anyway if we're talking multi-launchers. I wanna see something that launches to 70+ mph and has the appropriate elements to go along with it.

I seem to recall everyone guessing giga when Banshee was coming to light as well...

Taco Bell at an amusement park sounds like bad juju. All the protein spills all the time. Nothing good can come from that.

Just fair warning, we just got the system here on the west side that's tracking to KI, and included with the rain is pea to chickpea size hail.

I was able to request not to close that Friday night, so I shouldn't arrive as a half-zombie that morning.

I want a giga in Behemoth's/Talon's colors.

I have a request for those of you who are artsy. I would like 3 print outs of the coasters I have pegged as my likely 100th credit during my trip to PA and NJ. EDIT: Due to a slight miscalculation on getting admission tickets, it'll be at Knoebels, so either Phoenix or Twister. Just some ideas from me- use the actual logos, something that matches the coasters' color scheme, the number 100, maybe an image of the ride. Make them fit on a 8x11 piece of paper in landscape, something that'll show up well in a photo of me holding it. PM me if you've got something.

Hush puppies+Carolina Mustard=food bliss.

I wonder why Beast has had so much downtime so far this season.
