I think I read their page wrong, it states 3rd park area, not parking area. I thought they were expanding into the parking lot. I am still not sure where this new attraction will be? The Steel Hawg Midway? I am assuming the entrance plaza they speak of is the one next to Steel Hawg?

I was really not expecting anything new from IB this season. I am very surprised they will be expanding into a parking lot even further. (Steel Hawg already took away some parking spaces.)

Plus, I would guess they are probably only sending out the ones that are cracked and tearing.

While we learn from mistakes like that, I firmly believe every accident is preventable. I agree, but we often learn the lesson to late!

Is that not one a few of those rotating signs as well?

I am pretty sure that you can not drive a tandem trailer in IL. Meaning you can not piggy back 2 trailers behind each other behind your truck. Which is legal in IN. I have heard of people coming to Indy having to bypass IL and cut through KY instead. This may have changed over the last few years, but my point is as others have stated certain loads may have to take unique routes to get to their destination.

I always wear cargo shorts or cargo pants, with 2 ziploc bags. One has my wallet, Car Key, (the rest of my keys stay in the car,) and gets my phone when on a water ride and on DB. The other ziploc bag is in a separate cargo pocket and has a small piece of microfiber cloth to clean my glasses. This bag also gets my glasses when on a water ride. I keep them separate so they do not get scratched by the items in the other ziploc bag.

Did they drive in there with a few semi's or make a lot of trips? $20.000 in scrap is a lot of scrap. That amount will not fit in the back of a truck or even a car hauler trailer unless they found a lot of precious metal, which is also possible.

I have to hand it to Ed for his patients in waiting for state funding, but I am not sure that is ever going to happen. I also have doubts that if reopened it would attract enough visitors to make money.

Hard to believe Vortex is at end of life when I go to Indiana Beach and ride Galaxy and Tigrr. Two steel coasters a lot older than Vortex. Especially Galaxy.

Since they are adding Vortex to ERT, it must not be anything to worry about at KI?

Those trap door slides seem very intimidating. I would love to try one to see how it feels to have the floor fall out from under you!

I wonder if they think it will bring more families to the park if their shorter family members can ride more?
