Maybe if per item sales are a complete flop today? As @BoddaH1994 points out, this may help the non meal plan crowd and Saturday would be more that crowd than a random Tuesday, so if it flops today, it will be dismal during the week.

Not surprised. Many of us predicted they wouldn't have a consolidated plan for 25 and probably 2026 at the earliest.

Or it could be that many experienced or witnessed the train getting stuck at the top of the lift hill way more than normal in the days leading up to the closure and they are waiting on that part so that it quits happening. It isn't a good look to have a coaster at the front of the park stuck and people screaming when guests are entering the park LOL.

Almost like they are trying to encourage it to do poorly so they can justify removing the event and/or doing something different. The wine fest should have gave them good data on what ala carte sales does to an event like this.

The park rarely issues an explanation when a ride is down for an extended period of time. But usually when it is down for a period of time, it is because they are waiting on a part.

That little bit of savings goes towards their bonuses It has been this way for most of the summer at KI with the drink+ plan - you get the drink plan cup and not the ICEE cup with a lid. Doesn't mean that some haven't been lucky and the associate didn't just give you the bigger ICEE cup and lid, but they have been told to use the smaller drink plan cup with no lid. No idea if it is an ICEE or KI request.

Well they hope the bring a friend buys a meal or drink or fudge. But I agree, a lottery for a small piece of fudge is crazy and not enough to convince someone on the fence about making a visit to KI to come visit. As I mentioned above, make it an experience or opportunity that isn't being sold.

Apparently a 17 year old flew out of their Zephyr type ride yesterday. And people complain about the KI response for Banshee, but that was an end of story from the beginning event because almost immediately it was conveyed a guest entered a restricted area and was hit by Banshee and that appeased the curiosity of the general public and the park didn't need to release statements or elaborate more than what they did in a press release to the media. But at Wonderland, it wasn't as simple of an incident and the next day the general public still doesn't really have an answer. Did the guest fall out or were they inside the fence and got hit by the ride or rider? It has been down since last week and the fence was added after a few days of it being closed.

I would assume KIC would fall under this as there is video content produced from time to time and the basis of the discussions? How many of these has this site "violated" recently.... Is this new "policy" retroactive or moving forward.... Will the TOS be updated to reflect these changes.... Does this policy apply to FB sites.... What is the "enforcement" - is it simply not invited to media events and the like or do they ban folks that violate it as if it is a park policy? So many questions....
