  1. My Prestige Pass friends that have attended every operating day have yet to see anything either and they should have these 3 now, unless they only give one LOL. Not that they said they plan on using them, but the marketed visit these dates and get this and so far nothing.
  2. Additional markings in the Preferred lot:
  3. Supposedly perks were to be coming out to those that attended preview night and X number of visits in April - has anyone seen any yet?
  4. Don't forget the big bonuses c-suite gets for the merger...
  5. Meanwhile over at Six Flags: Total revenue for first quarter 2024 decreased $9 million, or 6%, compared to first quarter 2023. Total attendance was 1.7 million guests, a 6% increase from the prior year, The $6.53 decrease in guest spending per capita compared to first quarter 2023 consisted of a $5.77 decrease in admissions spending per capita and a $0.76 decrease in in-park spending per capita. The company had a net loss of $83 million in first quarter 2024, compared to net loss of $70 million in first quarter 2023. The loss per share was $0.98 compared to loss per share of $0.84 in first quarter 2023, driven by lower revenue. Who is coming out the winner in this merger....
  6. Talk about a click-bait article! https://insidethemagic.net/2024/05/dollywood-closure-weather-ad1/
  7. I was wondering that, except for the part that referenced it as part of CP - but that could have been in error referencing CP? But if it is for parks with Winterfest, how would that impact season long FL? Carowinds did FL during Winterfest and season long was good. Would season long not be good?
  8. What is the holiday Fast Lane - does he mean fright lane or is this going to be some new offering, or since it says "there" referring to CP, is this a hint of Winterfest LOL? And of course @Tr0yfavorite the upcharge on food: "if I think about the month of April and what we’ve been seeing continued healthy increases in food and beverage leading the way, increased extra charge, premium offering, revenue and per cap as well, part of that. And we’re just getting to where we’ve opened now Cedar Point, with Top Thrill 2, we think the premium offerings there, most notably Fast Lane and – the holiday Fast Lane and the single-use Fast Lane will be a nice lift year-over-year."
  9. True, but regardless of the number of days, they posted record revenue Q1. The point is people complain all the time, yet more than enough people still see value and go/spend in record numbers. So from the Board's perspective, they are doing something right and will continue to make the same decisions that many feel are ruining the guest experience...which is unfortunate to those feeling CF is devaluing the experience. Based on all the complaints and apparent lack of marketing, one would expect to see declines, and until that happens that they cannot brush off as "weather related", expect to see more of the same cuts we see.
  10. And this is why they can continue to bait & switch and cut hours and food quality and all the other complaints folks make....people will still show up...record Q1 revenue despite 44 net fewer operating days... Highlights: First Quarter of 2024 Compared to First Quarter of 2023 44 net fewer operating days compared to Q1-2023. Net revenues totaled a record $102 million for the quarter, an increase of 20%, or $17 million. The Adjusted EBITDA(1) loss for the quarter totaled $97 million compared with an Adjusted EBITDA loss of $101 million in Q1-2023. Attendance totaled 1.3 million guests, an increase of 27%, or 290,000 guests. Out-of-park revenues(2) totaled a record $23 million for the quarter, an increase of 21%, or $4 million.
  11. So for kicks, I took it a little further as well LOL. I assumed FunPix was a 3rd party and I was willing to give some benefit of doubt to CF that perhaps FunPix simply made the switch without their approval. So I looked up who owns FunPix and this shows up in the TOS: I grant to Cedar Fair L.P. and its wholly owned subsidiaries (doing business as MyFunPix.com), their affiliates, agents, and respective successors and assigns the right to photograph and/or videograph me and the worldwide unlimited fully paid up perpetual right to use such photographs and videos including the right to publish, and copyright in any and all media of advertising, marketing, sales, and promotion of such photographs and without limitation, the right to adapt, edit or otherwise use the photographs and videos, or any portion thereof, alone or in conjunction with other materials, in all types of media including but not limited to electronic, digital and computer-based media and technologies, now existing or hereafter developed, as well as the storage, retrieval, transmission, display, output and reproduction of data through any such media and technologies. So I guess yeah, CF is ultimately responsible and can't try to point the blame to a 3rd party vendor...
  12. I doubt CF will comment on what happened or the resolution, but for all we know this was a FunPix mistake and CF had no idea?
  13. They managed to figure out how to keep the beer cold and not "stolen" yet couldn't figure out the same for the bottled beverages...
  14. Oh they put you out in the outdoor line to make you thirsty for the new drink bars going in - gotta squeeze those extra nickels out of the guests already in the park
  15. I see what you did there...good one
  16. Yeah and one would think they would give the flagship park the biggest budget? They could have turned Johnny Rockets into the inside VIP instead of yet another arcade.... And the ones they renovated they took away a meal plan option to convert to the higher priced pass. Tells you where their mindset is at... KI has a restaurant that sits vacant most of the year that they could have easily made a VIP Lounge at little costs and used their famous "subject to availability" line for days it is used for something else. And then throw up a tent for the days the International was used as something else. And depending on the extent of the renovation, sometimes it is cheaper to build from scratch. How many restaurants do we see tear down and rebuild on same site or simply move just down the street. Kroger does the same thing.
  17. Yeah, but you would think the flagship park would have the best Lounge?
  18. Instead of the rail renting out KI, they are bringing the amusement park to the rail. What could possibly go wrong with kids running around a rail yard....
  19. I mentioned it earlier when someone said they should make Melt the new VIP that they replaced the tent with basically a glorified picnic shelter.
  20. That would be one way to "prevent" people from taking pictures of the monitors LOL.
  21. Markings were on Delirium side and out past the covering of the main Chicken Shack entrance. They were not there opening weekend (or they were obstructed).
  22. With all the storm grates they put on the high spot of the area, it would seem weird to then pop a building on top of that, but who knows LOL...
  23. Usually it is the other way around with CF issuing a C&D for IP violations...
  24. From the parking lot on south side of entrance between parking lot and Congo Falls. Utility markings by Chicken Shack:
  25. More work and markers in the area that was "just a waterline" and said waterline has been in for a few years...along with some markings in Action Zone... Maybe @BeeastFarmer is right about a MEGA new Six Flags entry
