  1. I know many people talk about the BAF seals the deal for them, but you are "paying" for your friend to get in "free" in the price of the pass. I'd rather see more benefits exclusive to Prestige and let my friends pay their own way in LOL. Especially since the BAF doesn't get the one time front of line pass this year and since it isn't paper, one can't give it away or hide it like they did last year. I guess they are hoping the BAF will buy one of the one-time front of the lines to use with their friend....
  2. ^Yep, just like parks Haunts and Winter events are voted on prior to the season starting...
  3. Except CP replaced the tent with a more permanent glorified picnic shelter for this year - I guess they could always pivot and make that an alcohol stand and move Prestige to Melt?
  4. I'm going with $25 for single use and 2.5 hour FastLane waits Hopefully I just set the bar low and when it is $15 and 1 hour waits, people will think it is great LOL.
  5. Can't wait to see the FL queue time show 2 hours LOL
  6. With the pending merger, makes you wonder why CF switched passes from platinum to all park passport and the investment in that changeover and now decided to invest in FunPerks knowing that SIX probably has better systems in place. Unless their due diligence showed that SIX was a better forward facing program, but sucked behind the scenes so they were testing this platform for when SIX is rolled up into it? If next year we are using SIX passholder software and moving to the tech SIX uses for other things, what a waste of resources spent the past year by CF.
  7. Apparently more trash bags
  8. Only those that don't trash the park online get the cool stuff (cross-threading)
  9. Food theme went out the window years ago with Festhaus food offerings
  10. What a glowing review LOL. I have felt the same about the mac&cheese and felt like the desserts being made in house should be better.
  11. Are we talking a 287 foot tall dive giga or 300 foot plus tall dive giga
  12. It was closed due to popular demand
  13. They will learn
  14. Workers at Brewhouse are saying that the grilled chicken sandwich so highly marketed is not going to be available now this year.... Anyone hear something similar?
  15. I hope they get a refund on the original purchase, or is this the way to get extra nickels from the guests
  16. Definitely a valid point about air conditioning! And to further make your point, that is probably why so many homebuilders put in a subdivision community pool as part of the HOA to pull on those generations that were used to having pools in their backyard, but may not necessarily want to have one of their own! But some still do. My friend lives in a subdivision with a HOA pool, and within a 2,000 foot radius of that pool, 8 homes in that subdivision also have built-in pools!
  17. No doubt they picked media day participants that never say a bad thing about them.
  18. Probably as a result of the issues last Saturday, a slight change in the chaperone policy is in effect that could allow it to start before 4PM:
  19. Interesting that the sign doesn't mention watches, so I guess it falls under "any other items" LOL:
  20. It could always change between now and opening weekend. Watches seem a little excessive since they allow glasses with a strap and as of right now earrings, but who knows.
  21. You forgot to add he also uses phrases like caveat emptor, ad nauseum, insufferable and other similar phrases to make him sound like an attorney or wannabe - who else uses those kind of words LOL. I am waiting for him to reply to you that you have presented an unequivocally preposterous fallacious straw man allegation and to reply to me that I am an insufferable ad nauseum provocateur that is as adorable as it is predictable He sure does get all excited like a Banshee though when talking about legal subjects...
  22. Yep. Watch the video. At around the 50 second mark she says she had to take her lanyard, earbud, and Apple Watch off. Yet those big@$$ earrings were perfectly acceptable...
  23. So she says they made her take her Apple Watch off as well. Yet let her keep those earrings in. She even mentions during the ride that she is surprised the earrings stayed in. I would think earrings would have an easier time flying off than a watch? https://www.13abc.com/2024/04/25/heres-first-look-top-thrill-2/?fbclid=IwZXh0bgNhZW0CMTEAAR05ZxogQjOyFdHtrafpFLcjmBrU9fq7t3Vux5HrO2vLnU2xhkNEz4D5rOQ_aem_ATnRg2iaAkqROA1uceu2bC-NRvA7drTTn-MgJ_2iIlGpol-SEXULUvnBecDzO-VSWqlke-f5ofPpF3U1xPRru8rg
  24. Doesn't the next sentence say you are not allowed in line barefoot.... So you either are wearing shoes that are acceptable or you are not allowed in line.
  25. Not that it makes it right, but from a business perspective, we see this type of activity all the time. The Beach sold passes and then had to refund, same with Coney Island when they announced their respective closures. Entertrainment Junction was selling passes before it was announced this might be its last year, and they are still selling passes knowing this year may be the final year (those passes are good for 365 days after purchase instead of following a calendar year). Restaurants and stores sell gift cards and then go bankrupt. As a consumer it sucks, but they continue business as usual as long as they can because anything could happen to change the closure or whatever. And we joke, but a certain member here is correct that season passes are not guaranteeing you that any specific ride will be open. But at the same time, when your business model relies heavily on passes, the consumer bases their pass pre-purchase on historical and recent experiences. Eroding that by announcing a ride closure just before the season opens or cutting park hours after many passes were sold will turn some off and hold off until the last minute before purchasing. Enough people decide to wait until the following year and purchase right before they are ready to visit the park will drastically cut down on pass sales, not only the early pre-season sales, but even during the season. Many people that would have bought a pass in August and wait, then come June may decide to spend their money elsewhere.
