At work this morning and glanced at webcams. Dreary looking day and I counted 10 people on all three! Hope the weather breaks and everyone can enjoy a low crowd day.

I'll see for myself in a couple of weeks, but it looks like this will be a home run. I wish they had chosen a different surface for the Mercado (beirgarten) patio, from the pictures it looks like plain concrete. I hope they put themed garbage cans in. Everyone, enjoy the park today!

It seems simple to me. You scan in, they give you your beverage of choice. You scan out ànd you can only take your bottled drink if it's been open. You have some light snacks available. You get your one use wristband for Fast Lane the first time you scan in. That wristband is for the pass holder only, even if they have a Fast Lane for the day or year. Also, if you have platinum level prestige pass, you should at a minimum, get preferred parking and a skip the line pass at other cf parks. Lounge chairs f they have it. I haven't seen the new lounge, but from the looks of the photos, it appears last year's lounge was more shaded and upscale. This years building looks more appropriate for Rivertown than whatever this area will be considered. But they will get a great spot for the parades.

@Taylor.B03I like your concept, but the issue would be with exiting the park. This would restrict movement out of the park, especially at higher demand times.

Again, we are less than ten days into the season...you can't blink a permanent solution into place.

I have heard drones are coming back from internet chatter but I wouldn't be disappointed if they don't as the 50th was a special occasion. I think they announced it last year as part of their 50th hype, but other than generic marketing references and pa announcements, I don't recall an announcement about the show. It drones come back, I want them to have cameras.

My post was in jest. And I would be fine with an increase in pass price and food pass price.

I wonder if the meal plan holders should plan a class action suit?

It's a non stop fright...only at Kings Island.

My hot take is that Pipeline Paradise will be retired before Soak City opens for the 2023 season.

It's amazing to me that a child can be expelled from school for drawing a crude gun or holding their hand in the shape of a gun, but shooting dark rides are still in parks. Being the safe, family oriented chain, Cedar Fair should remove this aspect of their dark rides.

But recaR ran for what...25 years or something? Wasn't the reason given was that it was put forwards again to keep operations consistent among all Cedar Fair parks? I never rode it backwards and wouldn't if they offered it again.

The park has only been open for 3 days. Let's temper the expectations and prognostications of any ride removal. I do f find it interesting, that the rides we currently have problems with and the inoperable rides are all from the Paramount era. Delerium gives great service but when it's down it's down for a bit usually. Drop Tower is prone to getting struck by lightning and probably has sensitive electronics and is from Intamin. Action theater or whatever it was called has been down since 2012 I think. And then there's tales from the crypt. Seems like the junkyard coaster is about the most reliable thing that Paramount did.

I thought The Beast was fairly hidden, except by drones, as far as park fans go. The park did some great updates. I think the #restoretheroar campaign is a lot of fun.

Didn't Kings Island say they planned for all coasters to be open except advexp on opening day this year?
