italianchef
I just tried to post a poll and don't think it worked. Which would you prefer? Hanna Barbera Land Nickelodeon Universe Planet Snoopy Bugs Bunny & Pals PBS Kids
TheCrypt
I chose Looney Tunes because it's such a universal brand. I don't know anyone who isn't familiar with the Road Runner, Tweety Bird, Wile E Coyote, Daffy Duck and Bugs Bunny.
LoraX
Can we combine? I want Hanna Barbera Land mixed with the activities and colors of Nickelodeon Universe. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Voicetek
I still vote for a Nintendo themed land. Mario characters and other popular game characters would be pretty sweet.
ohiocolts
Nintendo themed would just be too awesome.
stashua123
Nintendo themed would just be too awesome. Yeah that would be awesome. I make Nintendo Parks in RCT1 and they are awesome. I would like to see it as Hanna Barbara Land again like it should be.

RollerNut
Hanna-Barbera, I miss Scooby!
TTD-120-420
If there was a whole park dedicated to Scooby Doo I would be the first in line for a season pass.
italianchef
I would be second in line, right behind you. A Scooby Doo park - or even a whole area dedicated to Scooby Doo would be awesome for my son and me.
kingsislandfan1972
I agree with everyone that Scooby Doo needs to return to Kings Island!
faeriewench
I rather Hanna Barbera for nostalgia sake but Six Flags got their meathooks on them. Sesame Street already grace the SeaWorld parks... Nickelodeon....I tried to watch that station recently and it is unrecognizable Planet Snoopy is just fine. Edited to add: Nintendo would be interesting...
AintNutinElse2Do
Personally I wish parks would just create their own unique characters. Otherwise I think Nintendo would be a great theme. Sent from my SCH-R970 using Tapatalk
Kyle100991
Hana Barbera and Nickelodeon like it was in the mid-to late 90's
IndyGuy4KI
I know this is is a topic to have a discussion about our kids area at KI, but we are thinking in the eyes of teenagers and adults. My kids went though the transition from Nick to Snoopy and not a peep from the change. As long as they got to see some sort of character, get a hug, then be able to ride the rides to keep them occupied they are happy! Would they be more excited to see Yoshi or Mario on the midway, of course. Would it ruin their day if they didn't, absolutely not.
Delirium2018
Since it's our kids. I would chose Nickelodeon Universe. Just because my kids would know more about that, than Hanna Barbera.
westcoaster
I would vote Disney License, never would happen, but would rock! Like Looney Toons, but as long as the Flags Company has it I highly doubt it. Could Hanna Barbera ever come back?
razmataz99
As you can see by my avatar, I am very bias towards Snoopy. Therefore I vote for Planet Snoopy. Also, I think that Nickelodeon Universe would not work because Nickelodeon is constantly changing it's shows. Plus, they don't show many cartoons anymore like they used to. Snoopy/The Peanuts gang are seen more often, and I think when little kids see Snoopy and the Peanuts gang at Kings Island, when they see Snoopy/The Peanuts gang they would think, "Kings Island!"
italianchef
My vote is 100% with Scooby Doo and Hanna Barbera Land - the Jetsons, the Flintstones, Yogi Bear, etc. SpongeBob and Nickelodeon would be my second choice. Snoopy and the gang would not make it to my top 5 or top 10 choices. The cartoon was just not that interesting. I'd rather see H-B, Nick, Disney, PBS, Nintendo, Bugs Bunny, or so many other kids themes for my kids and I to interact with.
TTD-120-420
There are only so many intellectual properties to go around. Maybe someone will start a breakfast cereal mascot area. Tony the Tiger, Lucky the Leprechaun, Cap'n Crunch, etc... $8 bowls of cereal for everyone!
xXDrummerKiDXx
I grew up in the Nickelodeon era, as well as my younger cousins, so personally, I'd choose Nickelodeon. So many memories.
purdude86
It was Hanna Barbara when I was a kid and I remember riding all the rides there with it. Smurfs boat ride and always sat in the Jabberjaw seat one the carousel. Then changed to Nick when I was a ten but watched most of the cartoons anyway so liked it as well, but did miss some of the nostalgia. So I'm kind of biased to those two. But they aren't really that identifiable anymore for the people going there. Peanuts works since it's something everyone knows and will for a long time so appeals to kids and adults. But given the choice I'd take Looney Tunes over them. They are fun and can be a bit more vibrant and dynamic in the area. And they have that same universal timeless quality that Peanuts has as well. Everyone knows those characters
ki95
With the new peanuts movie coming out, I think it's a good thing that we have them in the park (for now that is) Sent from my KFTT using Tapatalk
The Interpreter
Peanuts is a registered trademark used under license at Kings Island and other Cedar Fair parks. As such, it is always capitalized.
DontWantToWait42mar0
Bring back Hanna Barbera Land and Nickelodeon Universe!
silver2005
As much as I loved Hanna Barbera Land, the current set up is nice and open, colorful, and bright. Its also much more friendly to foot traffic to accommodate guests going to Diamondback and Beast in the morning than its earlier configurations. As for what theme, as long as its making its target demographic happy, I'm perfectly fine with whatever Kings Island decides to do with the kids area.
