I am kind of bummed that the south entrance is gone.  Going to be strange going to the North entrance.

I don't know if anyone else has noticed, but it looks like the black top is being busted out in front of Beast Arcade

There is no way that is what's happening. They're more than likely cleaning the blacktop so it looks good again. (Somewhat)

 

They couldn't get concrete dried and available to use by guests in the span of less than 24 hours.

Could be prepping for fresh blacktop or possibly pavers.... Or just cleaning. Guess we'll know for sure tomorrow.

Technically, concrete isn`t dried.  It is cured.  It is a chemical reaction between the cement and water known as hydration (the water doesn`t evaporate, but reacts with the cement).

 

And as others stated, they likely aren`t tearing up the asphalt at this point in time.  Maybe they are sealing the asphalt, but even then, that is unlikely this close to opening.

They made the exit for it a little bit better and widened the available area. Other than that. Nothing has changed.

I hope everyone who is going tonight has an awesome time. I cant wait till tomorrow even though I won't get there until probably 3 or 4pm.....that wonderful time of year is finally here again.... Warmer weather, ki opens up, rain instead of snow...... Love this time of year lol.

Im ready for insanely long lines. How busy was the preview night last year? They didn't seem to advertise it that much this year.

Indeed. Last year, I was the one burning through my battery to post pictures on preview night. I hope someone does the same tonight for those of us that can't be there.

kind of interesting to watch things go thru the paces.  Diamondback had a train stopped at the top of the lift, another stopped at the MCBR and the 3rd stopped in the brake run.  A bunch of other rides going thru warmups.  Enjoy the evening.

Hey everyone. Anyone that wants to introduce themselves to me tomorrow, I'll be wearing my green Beast  T-Shirt. I'll also have a green CP hat on too. That's my signature hat when I go to Kings Island or Cedar Point.
