I noticed that the right side bar is also extremely long....if you scroll down all the way, the space where the different threads/topics are becomes empty and there are a few ads on the side bar and then recent posts below as well. Google keeps enabling new "Ad Experiments" and makes it difficult to disable them. I've gone through and turned them off wherever I could find them.
