Just checked out the Fury 325 webcam facing the underground dive and all I can say is Wow!..... You HAVE to check out the "lightning bolt" lights striking back and forth under the tunnel! Amazing! ....On a somewhat related note....Lights have also been placed and aimed upwards at the support beams making them glow into the night. Carowinds Webcams Page3 points

And Mason is not Cincinnati. Sorry, I could not help myself........3 points

And then what would have been the incentive to renew early? You snooze, you lose. The earlybird gets the preview night. The snoozer gets to pay more.3 points

^ Yes, the park does have that information. If you ordered online and want to reprint your receipt, you can do this at https://cf-ki.secure.accesso.com/orderLookup2 points

I received an email from the park recently specifically saying I am invited to the event, because I renewed in the fall. I plan to have a copy of that along with a print of my renewal confirmation when I go, just in case. Still curious whether season-long meal plans will work that evening.2 points

Details are up: https://www.cedarpoint.com/blog-article/online-fun/Coaster-Campout-Reservations?mobile=0 Campsites this year are $200 each, with all proceeds going to A Kid Again. There are 65 campsites in the grass and 115 on the concrete, and campsites this year are first-come, first-served (unlike last year's lottery). Tickets will go on sale this coming Tuesday, March 24 at 9 AM. To access the ticket purchase page, you will have to enter the promo code CAMPCP in the upper right corner of their home page after 9 AM on Tuesday. Who here is going to do this? I was hoping to do it this year, but $200 is out of my price range given my budget for the year.1 point

So apparently Juke Box Diner has been re-added to the All Season Dining Plan. https://www.visitkingsisland.com/things-to-do/dining-plans1 point

Each campsite holds up to 4 people. $50/person is very reasonable for all you get, and all the money is going to a very good cause. This event was a lot of fun last year.1 point

I haven't seen this posted anywhere else, but it looks like the cars have been added to KI's scooters! Captured from Kings Island Webcam.1 point

For those of you who do not know, here is where the name almost certainly came from. I really like the name by the way.1 point

The 2015 park map calls it Shake, Rattle, & Roll. I would take that as a yes! https://www.visitkingsisland.com/images/uploads/file/2015%20Map.jpg1 point

The access via the exit system is generally not considered universal access unless EVERYONE accesses via the exit. (Note however, an available elevator MAY be reasonable). It is, at most, an interim solution until major renovation occurs. And, contrary to many perceptions, there is no 'grandfathering' under the ADA; the facility owner must make reasonable accommodation. Think a Soak City expansion is much needed. We could definitely use at least a new slide tower if not a few big new slides.1 point

I don't know about you guys, but I'm kind of grateful for the off season. If you spend as much time as I do at KI, you really need some time to recharge the batteries. Don't get me wrong, I'm as bummed as everybody else on closing day, but I like to take the off season to try new things since so much of my time is wrapped up in the park while it's open.1 point
