As a former bar/ restaurant owner, this is 100% accurate. I can't tell you how many times I would find a "product" sticking to the side of the stall- and there were separate cans in each stall for these....

60-90 days seems a bit much. The typical cure time is 28 days. Or are they using a different type of mix that requires a longer cure time?

This is not the first time enthusiasts had blue prints in hand from public sources. Those making the decisions on teasers/ media releases know enthusiasts treat is as a badge of honor to provide "insider info" about new rides- especially coasters. Meaning- KI knows public blueprints will be found. Teasers are thought up long before the blue prints are available to the public. Coming out with teasers now only satisfies or upsets fanboys, but potentially turn off the GP due to media attention (why go to KI in 2019 when 2020 will have a BIG ride?). Rest assured, the media surfs KIC due to the vast knowledge of the park & industry and will report many things seen here. Beast 40th is still being promoted by the park which many are, alarmingly, dismissing. Relax folks. Some are sounding like Veruca Salt wanting everything now while others sound like the old man down the street yelling at kids to get off his lawn.

I'm thinking KI will have an Intamin about 2025. A style like Maverick. Hopefully it will not come at the expense of another ride that has been rumored to be removed. And yes, Intamin. Many of their rides have a long history of issues and others the complete opposite. But let's be excited about 2020.

SoB should have been sponsored by a beer company. My national beer day at KI happened after my first trip on SoB in 2000 (3rd or 4th trip from Erie....) I was so shaken, I needed to sit down at the Beer Garden for a few.

Cedar Point allows re-entry. Too many people staying on park property in the hotels & marina to not allow it.

Sexual harassment is very difficult to prove absent of: witnesses, email, video etc. It is also interesting that the lawsuit was filed. Typically if there is any merit to the accusations, the company being sued would want to settle before the lawsuit hits the courts. We only hear a fraction of the sexual harassment allegations & settlements. If any of this is true, the immediate supervisor should be held responsible as he did not go to HR with the allegation(s). On a side note- if you are in a difficult situation, be sure to email your direct supervisor & Bcc your personal email account. And- DOCUMENT, DOCUMENT, DOCUMENT immediately!!! You will never remember the exact details days, weeks, months, years later. If your direct supervisor does nothing, go above their head. If you do have a personal one-on-one verbal meeting, send a follow-up email with all the details discussed. Nobody will cover your butt better than yourself!

Ever think the lack of "teasers" is the actual teasing?

Gaslighting is very serious, both in the action & the accusation. I am not trying to be unempathetic for those who have been gaslighted but using "gaslighting" in the example given here takes away from the seriousness of the true action. The literal action typically surrounds a very personal relationship.

KI did have trams back in the day. I believe the added insurance expense in our litigious world had a hand in their demise. CP does have van shuttles that will take you from front of park to back of park, marina entrance, Lighthouse Point etc. Link to previous tram discussion:

Lake Erie water level, as well as all the Great Lakes, are near or have exceeded all time high levels. Superior is about 14" above normal whereas the rest are +30" above normal. Needless to say, the levels are creating havoc on the shorelines. A good chunk of Cedar Point Marina has been under water this year & yesterday there was a decent NE wind which "pushes" water into Sandusky Bay. There is almost as much water as there is land on Presque Isle in Erie (Waldameer for you enthusiast folk). At this point, we can only hope for a good amount of dry weather to drop the levels before the winter months. High water & winter storms will devastate the shorelines everywhere.

Annoyed? Really? I hope that is an exaggeration. It's just a 2020 coaster. It's still a great park with much activity to discuss in 2019 without teasing the newest addition. If CF announced all their the big additions the same way at every park the anticipation would be nil across the board. We are just over the halfway point of the main operating season. There is still a ton of time to enjoy the teasing- kinda like ----play without a feather. Frankie say RELAX......

The allure of GL was lost when SF over expanded both in size & rides. The majority of the members here can't imagine how adding rides is a bad thing, but SF added so much so fast as direct competition to CP it turned many off. GL was a really nice, family park. SF commercialized it so much (similar to Paramount's takeover of KI) GL lost its charm. Then adding SW was the nail in the coffin. SF advertised the park as so big when people came, the disappointment was just as big. The place was a haul to walk around. When I mention "charm" I refer to parks like: Waldameer, BGW, and Hershey. CF gets blame due to being the last owner that pulled the trigger. Their mistake was taking it over from SF because the damage was already done.

There are many aspects that go into removing a ride. Parks need to take into account: ride reliability, maintenance costs, popularity, & overall guest experience to name a few off the top of my head. I believe that ride removal just for the sake of not expending elsewhere would be one of the last deciding factors.

I have been guilty of taking things the wrong way to the point I believed the poster was being insulting/ malicious. When in reality they just didn't understand what I meant. I refer it to a "lost in translation" effect in social media. We cannot hear someone's tone of voice or see facial expressions and may take a post the wrong way and consider it an attack. Nobody is perfect. Nobody knows all. Everyone has an opinion. Too often we get caught up in something that we didn't explain fully, or someone else misunderstood. Is it really THAT big of a deal? This has always been a fun forum with some incredibly intelligent members that are very dedicated to KI (sometimes too dedicated ). BTW- I love smartass answers & humor. It keeps things on the light side. Take no offense and give it back!
