  1. One thing we know about our passholders is they will come regardless. Even if the park did zero decorating and no scare zones or roamers and only focused on upcharge mazes, people will still pack the park. If people can't get in the mazes with entry into the park, then the rides lines become even longer than they already are during Haunt. On Haunt Saturdays many of the FL get to/approach the queue entrance, so the lines will be even worse.
  2. I thought it was already confirmed a Cheesecake Factory and Burger King
  3. It says good rest of 2025 at all parks, but they can always change the terms at any time without notice.
  4. Many say this, even fewer follow through. What have you decided you will do instead?
  5. It will be interesting to see if other parks offer a MVP sale and if they tailor it to what they are trying to get out of that park guests. For example, maybe the analytics show that at Wonderland they have the smallest percentage of people that buy a pass from there with the all park passport, so they offered that free to try to encourage them to attend other parks. Maybe another park will offer something else free? Or is that thinking too much and they aren't that smart LOL.
  6. ^And that is what they are banking on. Be the best bang for the buck and lowest pricing to make it up on quantity and figure enough people will accept whatever product is offered to them because of the lower prices. What other product, service, or entertainment offering has had prices go down? They are desperate and going to their go to give away the gate option.
  7. Yep. I posted this in another thread: Since this is starting to roll out earlier than usual, this tells me that attendance is down chain wide and they need some good news momentum for the TBD Q2 call. They wanna be able to say 2026 pass sales are strong and momentum going the right way and all that jazz to divert attention away from YTD performance. I would be shocked if we don't see this rollout to other parks in the coming days.
  8. Because our guests entered the single rider line DEMANDING to not get split up in single rider line and the ride ops were getting verbally abused. They were not ok with getting split up. Just not worth it. Keep it FL and make some money.

  10. ^yep. Look here back when Prestige came out and the "may vary by park" benefits changed daily and caused lots of confusion.
  11. So they aren't selling the all park passport and just comes with the gold pass next year lol. As usual a bunch of nonconsistent verbage that they modify as they see fit without notice.
  12. It will change 12 times as they realize that they messed up. Caveat Emptor
  13. Apparently they plan to make it up on parking if you visit other parks LOL
  14. I have mentioned here before that it appeared the strategy for 2026 passes would be lower prices than last year to make it up on quantity and sadly that appears to be the case... Giving away the gate is their fallback.
  15. It did. The south was the main toll with more toll lanes than the north and had like 3-4 dedicated lanes off KI drive going to it and when they would close one of the entrances during light times, it would be the north entrance that would close. But like you said, it would back up so the decision was made to move the entrance north to hopefully only back up on KI drive and not I-71 also. But during Haunt it has backed up onto I-71.
  16. Speaking of parking, I guess when your company picnic is at KI, you can take up multiple spaces up close lol
  17. ^I think they will go the other way and either hold prices steady or lower the price for 2026 passes. They have made comments that have alluded to making it up in quantity moving forward. The only way to do that is lower prices.
  18. Funnel Cake Friday - BOGO from 5 to 8pm.
  19. Oh I remember...I even remember when they had actual cars parked around the park advertising ....just pointing out we are slowing seeing the return...
  20. They are multiplying across the park LOL
  21. Absolutely! The ride ops and other front line associates are doing the best they can with the limitations handed to them from above. Sadly, those making these decisions collect their big bonuses and never interact with the guests....
  22. Is this a new prize - 2 FL wristbands for landing one ring on a bottle?
  23. Glad they can change this poster out frequently. Now if the ice and cups can be replenished as quickly
  24. ^The kids Halloween stuff was in Soak City for many years, not just one year, and was well received by guests... While I love the ideas proposed, the same reasons they moved Halloween stuff back to main park would be an even bigger driver for Winterfest - how many million lights would they need to do so in Soak City so that people don't complain? What about entertainment over there? Do you remove lights from main park to place over at Soak City? Never say never, but it seems unlikely Soak City will be used as they still have enough area to expand with in main area and better crowd control.
  25. ^That mentality contributes to the problem - I guess you steal if the odds are in your favor? Sounds like victim shaming on a corporate level...Blame the park for the theft... You realize retail loses BILLIONS annually to theft even with loss prevention personnel. Companies spend millions on cyberand still get hacked. And sadly it is a level higher than the companies - the law is in favor of the criminal. Watch what happens when a store loss prevention employee touches or tries to physically stop the thief... No place is immune from theft. People get creative no matter how much restriction is put in place. Could the park do more - yes - could the guests do better - yes. Like I said, the park must feel that the cost to prevent is higher than the loss due to theft. Still doesn't make it right to steal. What we may see is removing self serve drink stations and requiring the employees to fill them. That would stop a lot of it. The moral/ethical compass is completely out of whack right now and using KI as an example people seem to be perfectly content with the stealing cause pop is just pop and they are a billion+/year company... We see the same arguments when someone posts about a big screen TV being stolen from Best Buy or a generator from Home Depot and ignore the lost prevention personnel commands and people say they are a billion/yr company so no big deal.. End of rant lol https://capitaloneshopping.com/research/shoplifting-statistics/#:~:text=Stores lost an estimated %2445.0,cost retailers %24461.86 in 2020.
