The left half of the parking tolls direct to north lot and the right half to the south lot. If you want the south lot, go to the right side of the tolls and easy peasy as it is a direct path to the south lot... this allows traffic to be spread among both lots without a lot of overlap issues as the cones prevent people from trying to cross, except when guests take cones out trying to get to the other lot lol... There is nothing wrong with the spots by the sign - they are blocked off to be used for overflow of all the parents picking kids up at close....kinda ironic with the chaperone policy lol... Yeah some lines need repainted, but people don't pay attention anyway and why bollards were added to handicap lot despite all the spots being well painted...

^Please no on the single use Fast Lane. A park like KI and CP does not need more people in a FL line. I agree that they need to find a way to limit the passholder preview attendance.

If these delays were costing them money, they would address it.... I suspect the chain has metrics that show that the attendance needle outside of passholders doesn't move until after Memorial Day, so why pay a premium to get it done earlier? Passholders still show up.... Anything can be accomplished earlier if you throw enough money to it. Maybe they get a base bid to have it complete by opening day and an alternate bid to complete by Memorial Day and the savings is too great to pass up to give them until Memorial Day.

If the 3rd train was not in the storage shed, then your statement would carry more weight. I know that you know that they completely take apart and put back together the coaster trains. The fact the 3rd train is in the shed indicates it was ready to go, so one can conclude that either during cycling or state inspection an issue popped up that they were not able to address for opening weekend.

Along the preferred parking issue, I heard from several Prestige passholders that the park was not enforcing the two-hour Prestige Line that is marketed either as a benefit they paid for. Supers were telling them the priority of the park was to get all passholders in quickly. If you can't provide the benefit, then don't offer it! But to be fair, KI never enforces that line like KD does....
