collin.klopfstein Posted September 5, 2019 Posted September 5, 2019 I think a piece of track is being picked up??? 3
collin.klopfstein Posted September 5, 2019 Posted September 5, 2019 Sorry for the doublepost but i looked and it looks like a transfer track piece being picked off based where the crane is and the track piece 4

Kodistict Posted September 5, 2019 Posted September 5, 2019 The crane is extended and is turning. Sorry for the double post. Update: they are moving the long piece of track!! 2
Hawaiian Coasters 325 Posted September 5, 2019 Posted September 5, 2019 It was moved over to where the rest of the track are. 3
LovinMeSomeBanshee Posted September 5, 2019 Posted September 5, 2019 That piece definitely looks like the long piece that moves/slides over the transfer table. It has to be long enough for the entire train to ride on, and that definitely looks longer than any other piece. 3

Our current view looks to be enough for the lift hill and brake run... we don't get to see the rest of it! CedarIslander, the short answer is Yes, they will turn and aim the camera wherever construction is at that point along the project. If you search for Fury325 time lapse on YouTube, you can see how they (Carowinds) re-aimed the webcam to get the most of what construction was taking place at that time. 1

Hawaiian Coasters 325 Posted September 6, 2019 Posted September 6, 2019 Looking at the webcam trying to imagine how this thing is going to look at night lit up with a hopeful LED package with the lights in the distance of the surrounding area! 3
Klabergian Empire Posted September 6, 2019 Posted September 6, 2019 Ok, not trying to make fun of this or anyone here, but I literally got on this forum on this page and this is a summary of what I saw: 5 10

Klabergian Empire Posted September 6, 2019 Posted September 6, 2019 It looks like work has started again on the transfer track. The cranes are up again 4
LovinMeSomeBanshee Posted September 6, 2019 Posted September 6, 2019 It's a beautiful morning at the Orion construction site. Edit: Didn't know Collin already posted a pic from this morning. My bad, y'all. 6 1
LovinMeSomeBanshee Posted September 6, 2019 Posted September 6, 2019 Do they normally test the rides in the mornings on off-days? Both Racer trains just completed a cycle. Edit: Disregard me today. It's Friday. I'm still thinking it's Thursday because of the holiday. My mind is gone. Wait - we are closed today. Hmm... 3 2
