Was the AI generated song added to that video or from the park?

That was the full song by this duo in the window at Snoopy's Boutique. I thought the song was pretty good and deserved to be the bed of the full video.

Especially at 0:07, you can hear some signature AI audio generation struggles. Most people unfamiliar with these tools probably won't even notice it's an entirely AI song, but the vocals seem very similar to what you can create on places like Udio or Suno.

In about 1-2 minutes on both of those sites, my friends and I were able to generate a couple of songs about the Tricks and Treats festival. All we had to do was enter the prompt: "Fun spooky song about Kings Island's Tricks and Treats festival".

These websites will auto generate lyrics as well; and while I can't say for sure that was the case here, I'm suspicious.

It's one thing for an individual or a group of friends to mess around with these, but it's concerning when a park with a large entertainment dept can't be bothered to write their own song for their event and instead rely on a free website. Why even bother having a creative team on payroll to theme a new attraction when an intern can create the storyline, logo, and soundtrack for a ride in 5 minutes.

Sure. But TT2 and the decision to try and revamp the ride and that’s so far proven unsuccessful. I wonder if they’d go for something like that now.

Ideally, maybe they could do another Beast “sequel” devoid of any direct connection to SoB. That could  be a good happy medium. It would also be a fun marketing/theming/story opportunity.

I'm on board with them doing a "sequel" or "requel" as people like to call it nowadays. But that's also just cause I wanna see another new wood coaster added to the park lol :p

I would think at a minimum, it would be a hybrid. I don't see an all wood structure for another project that big again.

In the event of a ground-up RMC coming to Kings Island, I would expect the park to use an all-steel support structure similar to ArieForce One. Kings Island has played it safe with their recent coaster additions as of the time Cedar Fair took over, and I think that would apply here as well by minimizing the risk of any potential structural issues like we've seen with Steel Vengeance for example. I wouldn't be surprised if no wood ended up being used at all. However, it's also because of the park playing it safe with their coaster additions that I believe an RMC at Kings Island is unlikely to begin with.

Totally! We have significantly more wood coasters than loopers. I'm thinking (and certainly hoping) the next couple/few coasters we get will feature multiple inversions; and not of the likely-to-fail wood variety of inversion! :-)

I'm really hoping that our long trend of playing the safe card and having beef with half the coaster companies out there will change, and we will see a couple more risky, off-the-hook coasters show up. Let's be real, we're essentially a wood and B&M park at this point. It's time for a change, and that likely means working with the RMC and Intamin types again. Maybe wishful thinking, but I will truly be very disappointed if either of our next couple coasters feature the words "wood" or "B&M" in their descriptions.

Arieforce One would easily be a top-tier coaster at Kings Island! It truly impressed me when I rode it. It was also a relatively cheap build at under $20m out the door next to our B&M additions. To my knowledge, the steel-built RMC's are proving to be workhorses, and it seems Six Flags has no hesitancy in working with them.

I'm not a rabid RMC fan like many others. I dislike the restraints in particular but I get why people love the rides as they are pretty much as wild as a coaster can get. So I wouldn't mind seeing one at KI...but I want it to be something special and not just a typical mid-level one Six Flags one.

With the “Giga” we got, and the “Water Coaster” we are getting. Mid-level is the new norm for KI.

CP’s Frontier Sling is currently being disassembled. No official word on why from CP:

https://www.facebook.com/groups/1988602284500537/posts/looks-like-something-else-might-be-on-the-way-out/9348629118497780/?

If it’s being removed, how much longer before KI follows suit?

Interesting. Frontier Fling is located right next to Snake River Falls, which the park already announced was being removed for "future expansion". It seems the Snake River Falls replacement will also require Frontier Fling to be removed as well.

As for Kings Island, I think Xtreme Skyflyer will stay at the park until they have something planned for its plot of land. All of the upcharge attractions that were removed in the chain recently, including our own Slingshot, were done to make way for some sort of future expansion.  With The Vortex replacement rumored to be built for 2026, I think it'll be a few years before we see a major renovation to Action Zone. There are multiple attractions in that area that I could realistically see getting axe'd, and that includes EXtreme Skyflyer.

Also, here's an image of Frontier Fling getting removed for those who don't want to join the Cedar Point Passholder's group.

Interesting they would remove it now and not later in the season. Almost seems like they plan to do something next year in that space and plan to begin work soon, or it could have needed a part as well and they didn't to shell out the money for just a year or so of operation.

Probably would've been more convenient to remove it now since they already have the demolition crew there to take down Snake River Falls.

It's a little sad to see that area become the focus it was over the last 10 years and then drop off farther than it had been previously. Probably one of the bigger combined fumbles of the Ouimet and Zimmerman eras is that nothing that landed there from 2014 onwards remains 10 years later (unless I'm forgetting something.)

I also feel like it's probably not a coincidence that the plots of land being cleared are adjacent to each other. From a business perspective and how the now-Six Flags-but-formerly-Cedar Fair leadership team seems to prioritize things, I wouldn't be shocked to see a GCI announced for that plot of land in the next few years.

A multi record smashing GCI wooden coaster. Son of Beast 2.0?

I'm sure the Son of Beast station will just sit there until the park needs the land for something.

Exactly, it would be a waste of money to tear it down if they weren’t going to do something with the land. Unless the structure somehow was deemed unsafe and could fall on The Bat’s track, it’s not going anywhere anytime soon if it’s not needed for something else.
