  1. I gotta say, I'm a little surprised it has sold out.
  2. Can't wait to see the display Friday evening.
  3. The Dayton Daily News has written an article about the history of the Enchanted Voyage building. Along with photos from the KIC archives. Enjoy! https://www.daytondailynews.com/lifestyles/from-the-enchanted-voyage-to-phantom-theater-and-boo-blaster-on-boo-hill-the-history-of-kings-islands-dark-rides/C533GATLB5FWVPHLFQSFCGPN44/
  4. P&G days is this weekend. I am guessing we will see lots of blow up products show up today.
  5. Do you think IB could keep up with the maintenance on one of those? At a KIC event years ago, this maintenance guy told us these were the most complex trains in the park (obviously at that time) with the number of sensors for each seat.
  6. Specific discussions on that are here if you or others are interested.
  7. I think this is a good move. With all the cuts and other issues they have had this season, having some consistency with thememing in one area of the park is a good thing. This might have put some parents over the edge if they had rethemed to Loony Tunes or DC characters. If we loose Snoopy in 2030, I would prefer the kids area be a DC area over Loony Tunes.
  8. First drop, amazing. Loop, very cool. The rest was you in one of those paint mixers at the hardware store. It was one awesome looking structure.
  9. These strollers keep getting more elaborate and bigger every season too. Some now come with monster truck tires, 12" lifts, and some about the size of a smart car.
  10. I would take a mega Siren's Curse in the Vortex spot. It can be a normal lift hill the tilt track is not required. With the onboard audio, light package, and the smooth elements of the SC, it would be a great replacement in that spot.
  11. It was running fine when I was there over the holiday weekend. The water sprayers were working.
  12. I rode the new one at Hershey this year. Being up on that hill is so fun to ride. I would love to get a screamin' swing at KI.
  13. I have gotten it a few times. @DonHelbig and I got it when it was new and we both enjoyed it. I am not sure it tops the pub burger for him though?
  14. Can't wait to see how they incorporate the characters back into the ride.
  15. The New for 2026 page has the story added to it. https://kicentral.com/new-in-2026/
  16. I moved the new ride discussions to the announcement thread.
  17. Maestro cordially invites you to step inside the Phantom Theater on a stormy night for the grand (and ghostly) opening of a long-awaited performance at Kings Island! No Legs Larry, the Phantom Theater’s legendary usher, needs YOU to help seat the audience. But beware…just before the show, a lightning strike has released supernatural ghost notes from Maestro’s famed pipe organ and they’ve run amok throughout the theater. The entire cast is calling on you to return them back to the organ before the curtain can rise! Riding in enchanted opera boxes and armed with interactive spellbound flashlights, journey through haunted hallways, magical dressing rooms, and wild backstage chaos to capture the ghost notes before they ruin the show. Along the way, meet unforgettably familiar vaudeville stars, dodge a firing cannon, and witness operatic shrieks that shatter mirrors. Will you save Maestro’s masterpiece in time for the show? Only one thing's certain: in the Phantom Theater, all the world’s a stage, and ghosts love a good encore! https://www.visitkingsisland.com/new-in-2026
  18. A new construction fence is now in the location of the old Axe, Axe, Baby's game location. This is the area under Diamondback's helix. What do you think this could be for? Are they going to use it for Haunt props, queue area for a maze, new drinks stand (unlikely), other ideas?
  19. Up at Cedar Point last weekend, we were riding the train going past the Cedar Creek Mine Ride. The guy in front of us looks over at the water next to us, and looks up and asks the guy next to him, "Did you see that? I just saw an alligator in the water?" He as 100% serious.
  20. I had to look up these up and the only thing that might fit (at least in my mind, which could be 100% wrong) is them changing their planned ride installs that was already announced in previous calls? If you invested based on those already announced installs to investors, (then reverse course later) some may have sold or made different decisions with their investments. Could that be a thing? It sure would be nice to have Terp's opinion on this.
