I was really pulling for that revue to happen!!!!! Just kidding. This is an acrobatic revue...A Justin Bieber acrobatic revue? I was hoping for the Biebs revue, but Cirque Imagine is okay. Kidding about wanting a Bieber revue. Sent from the electronic piece of equipment known as the iPad using Tapatalk

I kind of agree, but also think that there would be numerous possibilities for it to be full during peak times. So yes and no.

Guests who congregate in big groups in the middle of the midway. Guests who try to tell you they went to Cedar Point (or any other park for that matter) and tell you that they got stuck on ____ (any given ride) for 8 hours, upside down/ at the very top/any given position because another ride vehicle hit the 3rd one, or some far-fetched story.

Correct, if you've registered and paid the event fee, you are able to attend. I think what Don is saying is, if you're at the park, don't assume you can participate just because you are on KIC and you know someone participating.

I'm hoping that Shake Rattle & Roll as well as Flight of Fear is open for the Coaster Crew event. I miss me some SR&R.

How to get kicked out of a theme park
Creed Bratton replied to rlentless's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
To a stinky! HAHA! Is it bad I know exactly who you're referring to? -
No one knows.

Seriously, no one can tell. No one can tell whether the weather will be perfect or not, no one can tell whether or not the park will actually be busy or not, no one can tell if a ride is not going to operate if the wind speed is 15 mph, no one is able to tell if downtime is going to be affected by the previous weekend. As many have told you on these threads, not everything is guaranteed and the park doesn't know about things until they happen. If you have more questions about your trip on the 30th please post in one of the threads you've already created. Turning other threads into questions about your trip isn't cool.

I guess I should have called it an #ussie! Lol

Six Flags Ride Operators
Creed Bratton replied to The Interpreter's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
I don't like how their priorities look: Friendly Clean Fast Safe Season Pass for 6 Million Years? -
Ride operators may have to take test rides throughout the day to observe if the ride is working as it should. They look for anything that could interfere with the track, they listen to the ride (yes, you hear how a ride is supposed to sound while working on it and are able to report something that sounds un-ordinary) and they also feel out the ride. So technically yes, they get paid to ride Banshee or other rides, but they are doing a specific thing while doing so. Not every employee runs over to Banshee before the park opens to ride it. They've got their own things to do, to get their own ride or area ready for park opening.

I must ask Don, are you counted in the thousands of park goers that may have taken part of the #selfie fad with The Big Noodle?

It kinda irritates me that Six Flags is retiring true classic wooden coasters. If they turn them in to the RMC branded coasters, I'm just ugh. I have not been on one, but it irritates me that they then stay "wooden" roller coasters.

Registration has been extended to Wednesday at 11:59:59 pm.

I love this!

You get dropped off and then picked up whenever needed. One entrance for vehicles and one exit for vehicles. This is not a park program however. If you are staying at the Kings Island Resort, a bus runs every half hour, on the half hour to pick up and/or drop off. I'm not sure how the other ones work. It's really all about coordinating who is picking you up and dropping you off.

Just a few more hours left to register! Remember if you are a KIC member registered before April 1st of this year, you are eligible to register! Sent from the electronic piece of equipment known as the iPad using Tapatalk

I understand your enthusiasm and hope for the best day possible when you visit. But please don't create multiple threads with different questions about one trip that you're going to have in the future. To answer your questions: it depends. The amount of rain may dictate some rides to close temporarily and some may not close. There also may some rides that close due to wind but some may not. It depends on the wind speed and such. Most rides have a max windspeed that can operate under. For instance, if it's really windy at the top of WindSeeker, the ride will not operate. You may not feel wind at the base of the tower, but the wind up top could be a lot faster than you think. Forecasts change constantly, so to find an accurate one is a rough job. The best one you'll find would be the evening before you arrive at the park, even then it may not be the most accurate. Weather constantly changes.

We do not know here whether or not rides will be closed in the future as none of us are able to predict the future (at least I think). KIC is not an official Kings Island park entity so we cannot speak for Kings Island or any other Cedar Fair park. Rides are massive machines and can break down, however, no one can know when they will do so. The park does not know from this point what rides will be operating in the morning, let alone over a week away.

Action Zone and X-Base join?
Creed Bratton replied to Banshee Back VII's topic in Coming Attractions
My mistake. Skylabs, have seating for 4 I believe where Enterprise has seating for 2 in each vehicle. -

No Skylabs have seating for two, Enterprises from what I understand have only seating for 1.
