  1. Unless you're at other CF parks, where renewals also get a Fright Lane pass to use.
  2. I think they must have been riding the Giant Wheel at CP.
  3. From what I read, during the pandemic, TVs and monitors were in high demand. Now that demand is down, the glut exists. So much so, that Samsung and another company (can't remember which one) cancelled all orders from a company that makes the screen (?) until after the Superbowl.
  4. I'm not sure about outdoor televisions, but there is a glut of televisions currently. I mean, Amazon was selling 75" Samsung TVs last month for $400. I saw LG 65" TVs at Walmart for $350.
  5. And it's interesting that the C's are capitalized!
  6. Reminds me of some lines from European Vacation in the restaurant...quoting it would like violate TOS.
  7. I like the poster, but would rather see it name Les Taxis and/or Ohio Overland Livery.
  8. I think that area the park is saturated with restaurants and bars.
  9. I'm in a state of mourning. Hands down the best show I've ever seen at Kings Island. I never experienced the ride, but when I first saw Maestro spin around on the organ, I was into the story of it all . I'm an elderly person, but it really is inexplicable magic to put into words, song and dance the characters that were made back in 1992. A ride was brought to life. Lines are in my head: " they say it isn't over til after I sing, but they didn't mention the scariest thing! When I hit a note that's a little too high, someone round me's about toooo--aaaahhh die!" (Are Hilda and Eve sisters?)
  10. You must love your drinks haha. From festivals to saloons, your ideas include booze. : )
  11. A Cedar Fair KI that existed from 2006-2014 was almost like a six flags park. I'm happy with where we have come since '13 and excited about where we are going. It comes as no surprise that nothing major is on dick, they have repeatedly stated that they are focusing chain wide on experience , memory and place making and large investments will be more spread out.
  12. Same way on The Racer.
  13. I rarely eat at Juke Box, but had a good experience this year with The Beast Burger. I am very picky about meat being cremated and mine was well done. @chuck norris, did they replace the meal and if not, did you go to Guest Services?
  14. But, Paramount mostly failed with their additions: Top Gun-planned prior to their ownership as Swoops. They just added Top Gun themeing. SOB-massive failure in almost all things except looks and legacy. FOF-win TRTR:failure DT/Delirium: Win, except for DT downtime Add in the decay of the park under Viacom and CBS and you have what we had in 2008.
  15. What are you saying on your last two lines? The font is unreadable.
  16. Of course it would make money. The park still markets this ride in spite of so many saying that the park does not want any mention of the ride being uttered. Posters, t-shirts, stickers. A memorial. And on and on. I don't think the people who would buy most of the remnants would be fans, as those are few and far between, but rather fans of the memory/nostalgia of the ride.
  17. Cracker Barrel above the entrance!
  18. I don't think it would go over well in that location. It's hidden, no one would see it or smell the food cooking. The most logical location, in my opinion, is the current location of KillMart. Visible. Smellable. And the backstage area needs to be cleaned up, so this would be a great reason to do so. Outside dining with a view of Orion, The Racer and the KMAA? Inside dining for hot days and cold WinterFest days? Of course, my idea has been put forth multiple times here and poo-pooed. But I'm seeing several in agreement now. @brenthodge, from an artistic standpoint, your idea is wonderful. But I just don't see it being visible enough to be successful.
  19. While this is a beautiful building, it would be redundant as @BB1 said above (and now I'm being redundant). Plus, the sight line of Banshee from right there has so much potential. A new climate controlled eatery/entertainment destination is needed down the midway in the area formerly known as Coney Mall. Climate control is missing in this area of the park.
  20. ****Knott's Berry Farm enters the chat*** Knott's Berry Farm: Hey KI, do you need some help? *****Kentucky Kingdom enters the chat*** Kentucky Kingdom: My brother to the NE, I can give you some help and advice on how to stop this! Kings Island: Yeah no. I got this. If I escort her from the park, she may not buy a poster or a pin! Knotts Berry Farm: Ok, but keep a watchful eye. Kentucky Kingdom: Hehehe, we will take all the hot moms from Cincy we can get! Keep making them mad by allowing this crap! Disco2000: Hey, KI...you need to....step it up....
  21. I wish they would plant some Colorado Blue Spruce trees and bushes that could be shaped into topiary at the base of the tower. Replace most of the grass with flower beds. Royal it up. I don't think they should plant trees that get tall; that would detract from the grandeur of the tower.
  22. The non medical GP may not like it. It's not Haunt related, it's actually pretty clinical. However, I bet Hilda, the Great Garbonzo and Houdelini could describe some things from their perspective! Or maybe the Maestro and No Legs Larry could describe the bucket of spinal fluid in detail!
  23. As an RN, I could have chosen many, many more disturbing phrases!
  24. The black seats hide all the human grease. On the orange seats, the human grease stood out.
