I have counted 664 lifetime rides on WindSeeker since my first flight on June 30, 2011. I actually discovered my favorite movie trilogy, How To Train Your Dragon, by riding WindSeeker! While not the most thrilling ride, WindSeeker has always held a place in my heart ever since I operated it alongside Vortex from 2017-2019.

I hope to eventually ride all the WindSeekers. So far I have also ridden Cedar Point's and SteelHawk at Worlds of Fun. I've seen in person the ones at Dominion and Carowinds, albeit closed due to either staffing or high winds, and I still have not visited Wonderland. Hopefully that changes within the next few years!

I rode one time because my wife asked. I kept my eye closed the entire way up. Peeked once at the very top then shut them immediately again until the ride stopped.

Never again

What about it makes you cringe? The height, openness, knowing it is a Mondial?

I'll ride a 500 ft. coaster that goes 200mph any day, but Ferris wheels, skyrides and WindSeeker just make me weary for some reason. Weird!

I'm ok with heights as long as I feel like it's more of a controlled atmosphere. Being on a coaster for some reason doesn't bother me at all. I love being 300 plus on a coaster. But put me up 300 feet in a little chair with a long thin arm holding me up there...no thanks! Not sure if I will ever ride it. I know it's safe, but my inner self still says no way!

Skyrides and Ferris wheels are the same, but I can ride them apprehensively. I don't exactly relish the experience though.

My fear of spreading my protein over a radius or ending up in first aid is my framework for not riding.

Whatever Kentucky Kingdom's version of WindSeeker is put an end to my day at the park. I left and had to take to a dark, cold AC bed at a relative's home in Louisville:)

Whenever WindSeeker is operating and during the heat, I'll always ride it to get nice breeze flowing through my face and great views around. The same goes for the Star Flyer models from Funtimes. (I'm hoping that I can go to RiverSide Park or Over Texas and ride on the 400 ft model.

I always try to ride it once per visit, so my ride count is probably in the dozens.

Of the 4 I've ridden (KI, CP, Carowinds, KD), I'd go with CP's being my favorite with Lake Erie in view, though that one is also the least likely to be running due to the winds.

Only ridden this once. I would only ride it for the views. Other than that, didn't wow me too much. I would much rather ride Shake, Rattle, and Roll.

Actually, I take that back. I have ridden It twice. Once during a random summer trip a year ago and once during the Haunt two years ago. The Haunt ride on WindSeeker was amazing and I love how you can see the whole park covered in smoke and the lights flickering with scare monsters below.

On a separate thought, I actually really do enjoy the Haunt, but not necessarily for the scariness and creepy sets. I like the smoke/fog, different lighting patterns through different areas, and of course the eyes on the Eiffel Tower!

I ride WindSeeker when I go (if its open) at least once or twice. I really enjoy the view from up there and it helps me gauge how long the line is for The Beast from afar.

If I had to guess, I would say I've ridden, in total, about 30+ times. My favorite WindSeeker is at Cedar Point. The views from the top are breathtaking considering the location/views and its proximity to the shoreline on Lake Erie.
