Creed Bratton
So I thought it'd be fun to do a bucket list for Kings Island, specifically in 2018. On things I want to do whether I've done them or not in the past. Post yours as well if you'd like. Update as you complete things and/or add more if you find something else you want to do. Here's mine in no particular order: Night Ride on Firehawk Ride The Bat at night (I've ridden at dusk, but I've not done a true night ride) Ride Congo Falls Ride Race For Your Life Charlie Brown Ride White Water Canyon Play more arcade games Play at least one midway game Ride Slingshot Ride Xtreme Skyflyer See Off The Charts (Didn't see it in the past) See Jump! The Ultimate Dog Show (mainly to see a show in the International Showplace Theatre, haven't done that in a long long time) Get FunPix picture taken at the front of the park with a stranger and/or an entire family. Watch the fireworks from the Eiffel Tower Watch the fireworks from International Street Have a fireworks ride on WindSeeker (Had one at the first Coasterstock and it was a blast!) Ride Boo Blasters and don't attempt to get any points Visit Soak City more Ride Woodstock Whirlybirds (because why not?) Spend a bit of time in the evening before park close on International Street Eat at Subway with my dining plan (because Subway is expensive outside of the park) Sample all of the fudge flavors at Sweet Spot Try all of the cotton candy flavors at Sweet Spot Spend a day at the park with my phone in the locker or car Feed the fish in the Oktoberfest Pond Meet at least 15 people from KIC that I don't already know Split a big funnel cake with toppings with friends Get a picture with each of the Peanuts costumed characters (those of you on here who are character escorts, make this happen please ) I'm sure there is more, but I'll add to it as I think of it. So again, what's your 2018 Bucket List?

In 2018, I will strive to: -Ride Woodstock Express -Ride Xtreme Skyflyer with another human (not solo) -Have something at the Smoothie Shack near Diamondback -Buy a unique souvenir(s) -See the Ultimate Dog Show at least once -Marathon water ride day (ride each one at least once in the same day) -Old West Photo with KIC friends -Watch fireworks on International Street sitting beside the fountains while indulging in a delicious treat -See the Ultmate Stunt Show - Complete every Haunt Maze -Don Helbig selfie -Ride The Beast in the back row -Work on a TBA creative project
BeeastFarmer
My goal is to be a little more social. I am an extrovert by nature, but my job drains me so parks have been a good way to blend in. Ive enjoyed KIC friends at Winter fest, I want to continue that over the 2018 season. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk

johnaalexis
Love your bucket list!! I’d love to be more social and talk to more people I’m just to must of a scaredy-cat to be social. Everyone on here so nice so I have no doubt you that nice in person! I know I saw a lot of people at CoasterStock last year, but I just could get my self to say hi lol I just need to be more social lol so I’d have to say my bucket list is - To Be more social & meet some people from KIC - More night rides! I only have a few under my belt and I’d like some more - Try more park food! Usually I just eat LaRosa because it my favorite and we don’t have it where I live. - Bring more friends! My fiancé and I have several close friends who have never been to KI so I’d like to show them my favorite park Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

McSalsa
Here is my bucket list. -Eat at the new Coney Island BBQ -Finally get a night ride on Mystic Timbers -Get Tree ending on Mystic Timbers (this one could be tough, due to the random nature of the endings) -Ride Flying Ace Aerial Chase (so I can finally say I have ridden every coaster in the park) And that is it. I don't want some ultra-huge bucket list, as it would be very tough to knock everything off, and I would rather enjoy KI in 2018 at my own pace thank you very much. Zen ride (seems like the unicorn of Kings Island)2. (Mystic Timbers Spoiler alert) The tree ending on Mysti.3. Win one of the gigantic stuffed animalsSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
KatieF
I'd like to ride Delirium. I've never ridden it before My always goal is Flight of Fear. I had a little bit of a traumatizing experience once in a queue line and I have still never had the guts to ride it. I've never ridden The Beast at night.
Creed Bratton
I've updated my list from what I've accomplished so far. I did have to change one item though. Night Ride on Firehawk Ride The Bat at night (I've ridden at dusk, but I've not done a true night ride) Ride Congo Falls Ride Race For Your Life Charlie Brown Ride White Water Canyon Play more arcade games Play at least one midway game Ride Slingshot Ride Xtreme Skyflyer See Off The Charts (Didn't see it in the past) See Jump! Spend a bit of time in the evening before park close on International Street Eat at Subway with my dining plan (because Subway is expensive outside of the park) Sample all of the fudge flavors at Sweet Spot Get at least one new flavor of the Cotton Candy from Sweet Spot (I had to update this, because they aren't giving samples...but a friend bought me the ranch cotton candy). Spend a day at the park with my phone in the locker or car Feed the fish in the Oktoberfest Pond Meet at least 15 people from KIC that I don't already know Split a big funnel cake with toppings with friends Get a picture with each of the Peanuts costumed characters (those of you on here who are character escorts, make this happen please )
VortexBFForever
- Ride Vortex for the 500th time, and celebrate with a fireworks ride on Vortex that same day. #MaybeMay4 - Reach 600 rides on Vortex - Reach 700 rides on Vortex (believe it or not, that is my target for my overall total this year!) - Watch the new Cirque show from the day it starts (unlike when I never saw Origins until 2016 and waited until 2017) - Possibly reach 200 flights on WindSeeker? (I'm at 121 and the most I've ridden in one season is 39) - Eat at Coney Bar B Que - Visit Soak City more than once - Spend at least one guest visit with a KIC group (especially if @Beastie1980 is there! We need to spend more time at KI together!)

Needing a push from the ride op to squeeze into the seat on Drop Tower at the beginning of last year was the impetus that started me on my own weight loss. A walk of shame, or fear of one, can be a great motivation for an enthusiast to lose weight.
King Ding Dong
Line jump every coaster que at least once Explore an “Authorized Personel Only” area each visit Get soaked on Congo’s bridge and immediately ride every attraction in Action Zone Flip the bird for every on-ride photo Dribble a basketball in the longest que of the day for the entire time Tell everyone around me how two people died on this ride last year Feed the bees by Rivertown LaRosa patio at least one Dr. Pepper each visit Deposit some “chew” in every drinking fountain Point out to the Mystic Timbers Crew that Lightning Rod is much better. Take a selfie on every lift hill Complain loudly to the line separator about the long wait. Clean out all the fast food bags from my car before I leave the lot Make a Coke Freestyle drink of no less than 50 different flavors Wait until I am at the front of a food line to ask my kids what they want for lunch Berate The Vortex crew for the rough ride Smoke a cigar in Planet Snoopy Did I miss anything? 4

Disclaimer, in all seriousness: We here on the "Windex" crew are not to blame for Vortex's not-as-smooth-as-Diamondback ride experience. So complaining to us won't accomplish very much, sadly. AND, Vortex was running quite well on opening weekend as it gave some rather smooth rides! I know from my four rides on it on Saturday!

King Ding Dong
I forgot the most important. Stop in the middle of the path between Action Zone and Oktoberfest and hold a family meeting. Discuss the order of rides we will follow when we get there, who needs to stop at the restroom, and tell your youngest child that you know he is hungry and no he cannot get a pretzel and will just have to wait for another hour until the cool down on his meal plan is over. If he had just eaten that last chicken strip a few hours ago like you told him to, he wouldn’t be in this prediciment. If he doesn’t like it we head to the parking lot and go home Right Now! (Bring double wide stroller for maximum effect) 3
IndyGuy4KI
Even better @King Ding Dong, a group of 4 or 5 walking up to Banshee with 20 people behind you trying to get into the queue. Stop right in front of the entrance blocking it and start asking the front line ride-op questions instead of stepping aside to ask their questions. 2

King Ding Dong
And use the test seat as a bench to rest your feet. Also ask the ride op if this thing goes upside down becuase you get really sick when you go upside down. Shrug and get in line anyway.

King Ding Dong
Trashy but not this trashy? Lol. Lets see, a serious or at least semi-serious list. Actually ride WindSeeker this year. Maybe coordinate with @VortexBFForever to distract it so I can sneak up on it before it sees me and goes down. For some reason didn’t ride WWC even once last year and I love this rapids rides. Come to think of it we didn’t ride RFYLCB either last year. Have not done Scrambler here yet. Surf Dog, we never make it over there. Have not seen a Cirque show. See the dog show. Try the surf thing at SC, still kind of concerned about an injury. I do have to drive 90 miles home. Try all the offerings at Coney BBQ of course. Let my kids win on Boo Blasters (once) Make it to Haunt this year, but that is tough with it being prime Scouting season as well. Of course make it to Winterfest at least once. Maybe ride Invertigo? Never been on it and any other boomerang was just uncomfortable and boring. Maybe ride Congo if I am already wet. I don’t think I have stood on the bridge of one of those since I was a kid. Bring a roll of quarters for the water cannons! Night ride on Beast has to happen this year. Even if I have to leave the kids at home and drive down some evening. Get my kids to ride Xtreme Skyflyer without freaking out half way up. (What is that called? “The Lowering of Shame”?) Do not eat a Funnel Cake. Drink a few beers some time and ride a coaster. Never done that.
