Heard a rumor that the Reds HOF Grille was closing or being repurposed. Is this correct? Would be disappointed if true...always nice to sit and take in a few innings.

I am sure that if that was being done we have hard something by now. When did we find out about Coney BBQ? There has been no release on that.....that I know of to suggest that was being done.

Haha 500 foot tall Intamin Christmas Tree's!?!?! I heard about them but I cannot believe at KI so excited! hahaha :P

It sounds like it is changing, there's an article on the Kings Island blog, says there will be a brewhouse directly across from Mytic and also says it will be on the dining plan.

When I read this, I immediatly thought of my friend who is into craft beer, but at the same time, I'm interested in that bread. Also, I wonder if the bar area from Reds will stick around... I've really enjoyed getting some water and taking a breather from all the rides and walking around.

I would assume that the bar area would be staying with "brew house" in the name

2nd on the water!  Best water in the park!!

Heck of a storm going through KI right now.  Horizontal rain and hail on the webcams.

The 2019 GAG has been released. Here are the rider requirements for the antique cars

They are currently test running BLSC.  I just saw the red train do a roll back through the first helix because it didn't have enough momentum to make it over the top.

When I sit down and think about it, there’s a lot of things to celebrate this year at Kings Island. Of course you’ve got the International Street upgrade, Antique Cars and the new Brewery restaurant. But there are several anniversaries at the park this year. Beast is 40 years old, Soak City/Waterworks is 30, Drop Tower and Invertigo are 20, and Diamondback is 10.

Yes I forgot to mention that! For me it’s hard to believe Diamondback is 10 years old. I remember taking my first ride on it. It was on July 8th, 2009 and I was 12 years old. Boy does time fly!

What are the actual opening years for the relocated Coney Island rides (Monster, Scrambler, RFYLCB, etc)?

As much as I keep seeing posts online about the International street makeover, I keep thinking what's going to happen to the trees there? I know I'm a tree lover here.

I think the linden trees that lined the Royal Fountain have been removed.

So fun fact: the park map said “Dodgems” until like 2008 (conflicting with the ride signs) and was like that for years until someone noticed the discrepancy.

^^ Will new smaller trees be planted?
I hope so. Maybe they will go more towards the original design with the trees and tables closer to the storefronts.

I was right about the Royal Fountain to be A Royal Show Fountain.

But am I right of the small plants to be looking like the original style since 1972

Really?

Why do I feel like your posts are here just to do this:

BLSC is testing but keeps not making it up the helix. They are also doing something odd to Delirium. They keep lowering things down in baskets or something but a rope. I am guessing that's the way parts are going down/up.

EDIT** BLSC is running and made it up the helix! - We have coaster testing!

Yeah, I saw the fountain post and thought, is it still Friday night???

Yay!   No dog show.   Choreographed 80s show in the Showplace.  Off the Charts and cirque show are back.
