DeviousMrMatt
I imagine that if they are wanting to do a big media event for the topping off they will wait till tomorrow or Thursday for that since most news outlets will be busy with election coverage today and results tomorrow.
Hawaiian Coasters 325
I don't know too much about this, but has Kings Island ever done a big topping off ceremony for past big projects?
JubJester
Was going through old Diamondback construction photos on the KIC photo gallery to see how it compares to Orion's construction. Here's a link if anyone wants it: https://www.KICentral.com/photos/displayimage.php?album=293&pid=7366#top_display_media
Benjamin22
^ Look how vibrant the paint once was, they should really consider repainting in the near future. Any ways very exciting to see the lift hill almost completed. Can’t wait to see how quickly progress moves after the lift is done.

Hueney020
Yeah that first picture really shows how awesome the drop is going to be. It is definitely going to be amazing going down that hill with the B&M clamshell restraints as long as they don’t staple you in. I can’t wait for the craziness. I actually might be happy they staple me in the first time.

Gplez90
I’m pretty sure they have the rest of the lift and drop preassembled into one piece. Orion could very well be topped off tomorrow!

Benjamin22
Long trains would result in longer, less snappy elements.

silver2005
After riding Nitro, the 4 across trains are my preference over the DB style on B&M hypers. They really zip through the course.
