DeltaFlyer Posted December 17, 2019 Posted December 17, 2019 The crane that was next to the lift hill is now disassembled in the parking lot and in the process of being transported out. 3
LintemuthStudios Posted December 17, 2019 Posted December 17, 2019 The biggest plus about them finishing up the turnaround soon is that we'll finally be able to make out what's going on most of the time again. I swear to god, it's a pain trying to see what's going on back there on the webcams. 5
MDMC01 Posted December 18, 2019 Posted December 18, 2019 That turnaround looks insane; that's gonna be fun to manuver through! 3

This is a giga all the way. Orion a few feet shorter at most and that is made up by lower elevation at bottom of first drop. Haters can p*** off. lol This is a massive ride that will probably be a better ride experience than most of the gigas out there. 13 1

Everything @presto123 said is 100% correct. And what's better is that this is a coaster we can call our own Giga. Not Cedar Point. Not any other park can claim this ride. It's ours. 10

King Ding Dong Posted December 18, 2019 Posted December 18, 2019 I get that, but this Dippin Dots stand over here is OURS as well. Not anyone else’s. Along with everything else in the park. I fail to understand the point. 2 3
Klabergian Empire Posted December 18, 2019 Posted December 18, 2019 Hate to change the subject, but does our park have the most B&M's? We will have one invert, one hyper, and one giga. 1

JonahWilliamson Posted December 18, 2019 Posted December 18, 2019 CP has 4. SFGAV- 5 We tied with Buch Tampa & Seaworld with 3 a lot of parks have three. 1
calakapepe Posted December 18, 2019 Posted December 18, 2019 I'm gonna hate on Orion where I see fit, and I'm not going anywhere Looking forward to my first ride though! -- BTW we now have an additional piece of track on the turnaround. Only way back is toward the brakerun! 6
Benjamin22 Posted December 18, 2019 Posted December 18, 2019 Parks in North America and the number of B&M’s Parks With 5 - SFGAv Parks with 4 - Carowinds, Cedar Point, SFMM, Six Flags Over Georgia, SFGA Parks with 3 - KI, CW, BGT, BGW, SWO. Parks with 2 - CGA, Dorney, Hershey, La ronde, Six Flags Fiesta Texas Parks with 1 - WoF, Knotts, Holiday World, SWSD, SWSA, SFNE, SFOT, SF St. Louis, KD, Dollywood, Silver Dollar City. 4 1

I believe the point is that 'giga' is a simplified statistical category that several coasters qualify for-while in reality every coaster is unique. Orion will be a ride experience unlike any other coaster anywhere--Dippin Dots taste the same here as they do anywhere. 3 1

What is the third B&M at Canada`s Wonderland? They have Leviathan and Behemoth.

CoastersRZ Posted December 18, 2019 Posted December 18, 2019 I totally forgot that ride was added this year... For those who haven`t been to Canada`s Wonderland, it is a great park. 5
Legofan237 Posted December 18, 2019 Posted December 18, 2019 Looks like they are putting in the next support 5
Ohiocoasterman Posted December 18, 2019 Posted December 18, 2019 I would think track will be up next before the day is over... 1 2
Kodistict Posted December 18, 2019 Posted December 18, 2019 The more this ride is built, the more I wonder why the animation pov made it look so dull. I wasn't expecting too much out of this turn, mainly just the height. But it looks amazing! 2

Never did I think the forces would be that amazing from the POV. 5

My 6 year old son has seen very little change in the area and he's not quite ready for the bigger rides. I wish they would add smaller kids rides in other sections of the park. So we don't have to walk all the way across the park for him to enjoy some rides There are 4 in Coney, 1 in Action Zone, 1 in Oktoberfest and 3 in Rivertown (not to mention Boo Blasters which is technically international street but logistically in Planet Snoopy) that all accomadate kids from 46" down to no height requirement with an accompanying adult.

Kodistict Posted December 18, 2019 Posted December 18, 2019 It also looks like we have another support up! It's hard to make out, but is there a another support after that one up? Edit: Never mind, there is only one new support up. 4 1
collin.klopfstein Posted December 18, 2019 Posted December 18, 2019 Super excited to ride this but not so much to wait in a 5+ hour line, but im sure it will be worth it! 5
