WoodVengeance
28 minutes ago, Diamondback_Is_King said: You just blew my mind @Rivertown Rider!!! A Screamin' Swing would fit so well with the "family thrill attraction" phrase. S&S labels the Screamin' Swing as a "moderate thrill level". To me, we just found a piece of the puzzle that makes the picture clearer than ever before. It all makes sense, that Screamin' Swing has KI written all over it. I'll bet lots that that'll be it. The question is, where will it go? Vortex? Action Zone? Son of Beast? Somewhere else? We'll just have to wait and see! The Vortex and Son of Beast plots aren't really flat areas at all, so I can't really see a flat ride going there. A coaster could work in those areas, but for this discussion I want to primarily focus on flat rides. The Skyflyer plot in Action Zone would probably be the safest option for a flat ride. The last time Action Zone added anything notable (besides a Coke stand) was in 2014 with Banshee, so over a decade ago. Once Skyflyer gets removed, there will be a nice, large, flat plot of land to work with that most types of flat rides could fit in. Another area I would like to give attention to is in Rivertown. As of right now, Rivertown does not have any flat rides and the last time that area has added anything was Mystic Timbers eight years ago. It could go either in the area behind the Eiffel Tower or the park could remove the Crypt building to make room there. Personally, I think it would be better for Rivertown to add a new water attraction like what Carowinds is adding next year.
silver2005
I see a perfect pad for an S&S Screaming Swing if this is true.
Hawaiian Coasters 325
Carowinds recently posted their 2025 park map and it looks like their skycoaster is staying (at least for now). Bc of this, I'm starting to think maybe ours was removed with a plan in place. Maybe the 2026 attraction is going there afterall. Or they just decided to keep it bc of the other stuff removed (ie Nighthawk, Drop Tower, and Scream Weaver)
SmartCat7162
Now I can say I have ridden every current ride in the park that is not a kiddy ride. Plus slingshot.

The one time I had a kid (my little sister) they still turned me away because she "didn't need a supervising adult" despite us being the only people in line for the ride.

Korey
While I'm disappointed in the lack of response form the park on this, I'm extremely excited to see what is to come on the land.
jcgoble3
Probably the only thing left that could have lured me back to buy another admission ticket for KI. It was the only ride left that still gave me a true adrenaline rush. Now the odds of me coming back are massively less than they were before, not that they were more than 1% before.

DJSkyFoxx
This is actually a disappointment for some of us though. For those of us who actually enjoyed this attraction, it was well worth the upcharge, especially when you could catch it on the cheap. I always did this 1-2X a year for sure and it became a Pride Night tradition with some of my friends. Heck, I got my fiancé' on it by sheer shock and surprise this past event. Now I am so glad she rode it because now it appears to be no more. And I agree. It really was the most thrilling experience in the park. If you've never experienced this kind of attraction, you can't imagine what a rush this thing was. No coaster or flat ride compares.

Losantiville Mining Co.
The space would be a good plot to park the food truck and put up some temporary big tents and tables as a place to sit until they get something more permanent for it. jbeast
My vote for that spot is a Screaming Swing. Every trip I take to Cedar Point, Skyhawk is a must ride. 4

I can see this happening if it's not the 2026 "family thrill attraction". If it is, then I don't know if they would put a picnic area in there. A picnic area in that plot would look good, and if they put in lots of trees it would provide something Action Zone lacks: SHADE! We need more trees in AZ, this spot would be perfect! 29 minutes ago, jbeast said: My vote for that spot is a Screaming Swing. Every trip I take to Cedar Point, Skyhawk is a must ride. I 100% agree with you! I never rode Skyhawk the times I went to Cedar Point because it was down that month (at least I think. Or, nobody was riding it).
Cedar Fair Fanboy
If I can think of something that could replace Xtreme Skyflyer without using a new ride space and just to expand something, Then this is what I came up with. You know they could just relocate Skyhawk to Kings Island seeing as it is adjacent to the snake River falls plot of land and it always seems to have short lines and I presume power ridership than some other flats at CP

I honestly always thought about how cool it would be to enclose the base of Drop Tower with an enclosed queue kinda like the base of Dr. Doom's Fearfall at IOA!
Cedar Fair Fanboy
They kinda can do that with the pre show room or if you want something like that, It's gonna be more like Orion's queue structure but less hanger and more abandoned field shades.
