Tickets have increased by $6 for passholders and $7 for non-passholders since the 2023 Coasterstock event. Will it sell out in less than eight minutes this year like it did in 2023? Will they increase the capacity for the first time ever so they can tell their new boss in Canada they were able to have record attendance going head-to-head with Holiday World's HoliWood Nights? Will they bring back ribs for the dinner? Will the itinerary be released before tickets go on sale? Only one thing we can bank on at this time, and that's all who participate will have a good time!2 points

I would also add Rick Astley in the shed. Could you imagine arriving in the shed and getting Rick rolled? Lol1 point

Maybe we will get lucky to have exclusive slide time in the schedule over in the waterpark on the new RiverRacers.1 point

This will be the first Coasterstock I won’t be attending. Hitting other parks this year. Time to let others enjoy CS and not take up a ticket. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk1 point

Why are all the people raving about Vortex, It sucks enough that Kings Island agreed that it shouldn't exist.1 point

Well I don't know what would get me punched. But I do know if I went up to someone and said The Beast is better than Voyage at Holiday world, I would get laughed at! I actually mean that by the way!1 point

If arrows weren't becoming extinct nowadays, after the last lift Hill of Adventure Express, I would add a helix after that little drop that would just go straight into the station afterwards. Give more to the adventure right?1 point

Universal's Stella Nova Resort opened Tuesday, January 21! This 750 room hotel is located right next to Epic Universe and the hotel's sister hotel, Terra Luna (which is planned to open March 25). You can walk from the hotel over to the park if the bus line is really long once Epic opens. Bus transportation can take you to any of Universal's parks and hotels. Eventually, the buses will be able to travel on their own dedicated road, but it has not been completed yet. These new buses are now electric. I have not been there, but I have watched many volgs and heard from people that it was very nice. Everything looks clean and new, and plenty of lights. The rooms aren't as big as Endless Summer Resorts (I have stayed at Dockside) but look cooler with the "space/galaxy" vibe. From what I've heard, the beds are on the firmer side, but they all had really good sleep. Some showers have tubs in the bathroom, and others have walk-in showers. Same goes for a small couch: there are rooms with them, but others don't have them. Kind of weird. I think the room that didn't have a small couch was a corner room, so it was slightly smaller. For food, there is a quick service marketplace where guests can grab something quick while heading to the park. For those who don't mind sitting and eating a little while, there is a cafe that serves different grill items and other items you would get at a food place like burgers, pizza, salads, deserts, etc. I heard that the burger was good as well as the cheesecake. The pizza didn't look very good because the marinara sauce looked like anything but marinara sauce. They also have refillable drink mugs similar to the ones at Endless Summer. For prices, it is in the same price range as the Endless Summer resorts and Stella Nova is starting at a price of $225.75 a night for two queen beds. Endless summer hotels are around the price of $171.68. Honestly, I really enjoyed Dockside but I think Stella Nova is just as good. We'll have to see if it differs any different to Terra Luna when it opens in March. Something cool: since the ceiling of the entrance hall in the hotel is in a weird shape, they couldn't put rooms directly over it. So, they made the hallway full of stars and cosmos instead of a blank hallway. One last thing: inside Stela Nova, there is a Universal Studios Store and contains Epic merch. They have merch from Harry Potter, Nintendo World, Dark Universe, and How to Train Your Dragon: Isle of Berk. They have photo frames, wands, and pins. One of the pins is a mystery pin for Dark Universe featuring all of the monsters. Each mystery pin set features a chaser pin. To learn more about this hotel in depth, check out Rix Flix on Youtube! He has a great channel and is very knowledgeable about all things Universal! We are now one step closer to the final product: Epic Universe opening day. Only a few months remain until May 22!!!1 point

If they change it now, they know that will get called out on KIC, the Tower Topics podcast and that's the only reason it stays.1 point

Many of us thought that would happen after the July photo was pointed out, and yet here we are LOL....1 point

It would be a nice add to the Coasterstock lineup if Soak City was incorporated into the event. EST (Exclusive Slide Time) on the new RiverRacers, Tropical Plunge and Mondo Monsoon are the only attractions that would need to be open.1 point

With Coasterstock being scheduled after Memorial Day and Soak City therefore being open, wonder if we might see ERT on some rides (and snacks) in Soak City similar to what HWN does?1 point

I'm a bit biased being a Hoosier, but man does Holiday World rock the socks off of events like this. I'm very thankful my state has a park like this. I'm thankful for KI being so close as well of course!1 point

With a number of people who annually attended Coasterstock going to HoliWood Nights, it does open the door for a lot of new attendees. However, the thing that made Coasterstock what it was, made it special, was the camaraderie. It was like a big family reunion every year. That key element will be missing.1 point

I might try and go to coasterstock however after the ACE Spring Conference, I'm not sure if there's much at the park I haven't seen in terms of BTS tours they offer Now if it's trimless night rides on The Beast? Count me in!!1 point

I will also be attending HoliWood Nights. I attended the event last year and had such a good time that I decided to make it an annual tradition.1 point

HWN is superior imo. I wonder how well it'll go without the leadership of the past.1 point
-
I am doing HWN too. When you are not sure if an event will take place, you make other plans. I hope all that attend have a great time!1 point
-
Won't be attending for the first time since Coasterstock has been offered. Will be at HWN.1 point

Glad to see it returning, though it won't be quite the same without Don. Hopefully I'll still be able to snag a ticket though.1 point

I think there is enough demand and with the HW event already being sold out, it will potentially give those that have been shut out of Coasterstock in the past a chance to get in. But I am sure some that travel to the area will sign up for both.1 point

Obviously, they didn't catch that I was on the train in the photo. Now that you mentioned it, nobody will be surprised if they go petty mode and swap it out and retire the photo, never to be used again.0 points
