Coney Mall Subway Becomes Coney Mall Cocktails

*New for 2024!* "Coney Mall Brawl"-come witness hammered strangers fight one another in the Midwest's largest entertainment center! Grab a seat and have a drunken good time!!! ***Show times may vary. -
I've never really understood the whole "secrecy" of shutting down webcams while rides test. I mean unless they are fearful of some catastrophic event and they don't want people to witness that, it doesn't make sense when other parks have left their webcams up for their new coasters as stated above while testing. I would think it would be smarter than having people attempt to trespass on grounds to witness testing.

Goodbye Coney....Goodbye....Electric Boogaloo -
I read on their social media that they are still trying to get the timing on the holding brakes right for the dangling effect, but its still cool to see an official POV. Short but sweet little ride.

How busy do you all think Pass Holder Preview Day will be this year? With it being later in the day? I still suspect it will be pretty busy seeing as it's PPD and with it being an evening thing, a lot of folks might just come through after work. But then I see it as because its later in the day it may not be as busy as past years. Knowing Kings Island fans though, it'll be busy.

Age Discrimination Lawsuit-Cedar Point
DJSkyFoxx replied to DJSkyFoxx's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
I definitely agree that 18 year olds shouldn't be housed with grown adults, however, there still could have been a solution to keep things separate but equal. Maybe offer a housing stipend in the local hotels -

My thoughts exactly. Not to mention when the kids go back to school, the adult workforce is needed that much more. -
Coney Mall Subway Becomes Coney Mall Cocktails

Another food place definitely would have been ideal. Like some of you, I like to treat myself on a rare occasion to an adult beverage, especially if its a specialty collab beer with say Sonder ( Blue Ice Cream/Strawberry Funnel Cake) or the likes. But otherwise, I don't care to spend $13+ on a drink that I can get much cheaper elsewhere. It will be interesting to see how much business this gets. -
Looks like a good line-up for the year. Glad to see a pretty good mixture of stuff for everyone.

1) Sol Spin 2) Drop Tower 3) Delirium Sol Spin is just so much fun and easy to ride. I enjoy the fact that is just forceful enough to be thrilling but not so much to where its uncomfortable. Plus the overall feeling of being able to put your arms and legs out and fly is just awesome. Drop Tower has always been fun. Hardly anyone I know wants to ride it with me so its usually one I go alone on because it freaks too many people out. But I like it for the view and the awesome seconds of weightlessness during the drop. Delirium is just a good time. Honorable mentions: -Monster -SRR -Zephyr

Attractions / buildings MOST LIKELY to leave PKI

Invertigo will outlive your grandchildren's grandchildren mwahahahahahahahahaha!!!! -
Really hate that this seems to have become an opening day tradition at a lot of parks here in recent years. People can't seem to go anywhere anymore without the possibility of being shot or getting caught up in some kind of altercation. Sad. Makes me wonder what KI's opening day will be like this year seeing as there was an incident last year that was thankfully apprehended before anything harmful could occur. I wouldn't be surprised if parks start doing active shooter training regularly since this is becoming so commonplace.

Does the All Park Passport cover parking at your non-home park?
DJSkyFoxx replied to BoddaH1994's topic in Kings Island
Definitely needs to be more consistency and reiteration on what is and what isn't across the board. There maybe things "subject to change" at any time. We know this. But the overall base understanding needs to be crystal clear across the board because this kind of confusion simply isn't it. When you go from having a Platinum pass with minimal to no confusion at all to a "same but different" pass set up that all of a sudden seems to be giving less benefits but advertised to work similarly to the previous pass type...yeah. You get where I'm going. One can only hope there will be more clarity and formality chain-wide without so much "this benefit works here but not there". -
Also New for 2025! "Toilet Plungers!"-an interactive guest experience where you can join the custodial team first thing in the morning by gearing up for a clogged up good time! Get the VIP treatment by getting behind the scenes tours of the park's latrines, waste systems and how the park manages backed up toilets and sinks! *May be subject to hazardous waste and must sign a waiver with blood type and a hair folicle. All Parks Passport does not apply*

Ugh. This would really be pretty terrible if parks can pick and choose if they will honor the GP+APP set-up. This wasn't a worry with Platinum. It costs a lot already to travel to said parks, pay for the pass with add-ons and then find yourself at the gate having to pay the $30+ parking fee. Gross.
