  1. As suspected, MEMI was going to try and preserve some historical aspects of the dry side of Coney Island. My question for those rallying behind the Save Coney Island campaign, would you do the same for MEMI to help raise the funds to keep Moonlite Gardens around? Maybe they can get a company(s) to sponsor Moonlite Gardens.
  2. Comparing the descriptions for each park’s website. Canadas Wonderland does not mention parking being included for the All Parks Add on:
  3. Pretty sure All parks does not give you parking at Canada’s Wonderland.
  4. Thats a great idea! It’s amazing what can be found in your own backyard but never knew about. I wouldn’t be opposed to a US states tasting lineup either.
  5. Yep, bankruptcy likely for both Six Flags and Cedar Fair. This merger allows them to kick the can (debt) down the road.

  7. They could create a new mini land called Area 75 that includes Project 305, and Flight of Fear. They could even rename Project 305 to Polaris.
  8. Agreed, I’ve been in my artic coat this entire month.
  9. I’m not counting on it but if Kings Island can manage to have Soapbox Racers operating by opening day wouldn’t they technically have North America's first Vekoma Family Boomerang roller coaster?
  10. Eat cheese coneys to save Coney Island: https://www.citybeat.com/food-drink/eat-cheese-coneys-this-weekend-to-help-save-coney-islands-sunlite-pool-16932007?fbclid=IwAR3Br3tTzcgZKcz1YE3it_Z1LdxOoCIpqTfRV9v4i8_dvITgL2em4l-9zWk_aem_AWqNViYky4CNdgvzZYWceDKKWnPAbyKYn6k9ZnFwDcbfm33RDsCFoblr80R1cCbjbLg
  11. I think more or less my patience waiting for rides has dropped with age. Anything over a 45 minute wait and I’m not happy. This number dwindles with each visit to the park. So after 20 or so visits to Kings Island, any with a line over 20 minutes seemed long. Another change as I aged is what I can and cannot eat at the park.
  12. TTD would likely of had work done on it from Intamin since SIX is currently having a coaster built by the company, and it would have been cheaper to bundle. Iron Menace would likely have not been a thing considering the last ground up B&M built at a SIX park was X-Flight in 2012.
  13. Kings Island is focused on selling Silver Passes.
  14. Somewhat yeah, since the preferred parking is good even when you don’t renew.
  15. I noticed that too, it had me sweating at first but as you said it showed up on the other app.
  16. Being too much of a chicken to ride Son of Beast.
  17. Being charged $1.29 for a condiment.
  18. Don’t forget to add Mike’s coat tail rider, Tony.
  19. I agree that Kings Island has been somewhat second fiddle ever since CF acquired the park. As far as lines for those coasters being longer, it's hard to make the comparison when the parks that those coasters reside in have roughly 3-4 times the attendance. If you look at the top 10 steel coasters for the Golden Ticket Awards, outside of Fury325. 2-10 is nothing but "maintenance nightmare's" aka expensive to maintain coasters that CF tries to avoid. It's a common theme, anything that providers a better experience whether it's a coaster, theming, or ambassadors making someone's day. It all costs money and the current leadership at CF would rather go cheap on those experiences so they can sell you a cheap season pass.
  20. In my opinion, going with what the guest wanted is what got us Orion to begin with. So many people begged for KI to get a "Giga coaster", and that's what we allegedly got. I would argue if guest got to make every pick, then CP would have likely never got Maverick and KI would have likely never got Mystic Timbers. And for a lot of folks those are considered world class rides with both being in the top 10 for the Golden Ticket Awards in their respective categories. I agree with you on guest experience being paramount in the decision making. Unfortunately, CF's CEO is determined to turn CF into essentially the Walmart / Mcdonalds of amusement parks. Cheap prices, with locations around every corner.
  21. Yeah, budget fatigue sets in quickly after the first couple days at Disney.
