Well - they pretty much knocked out most of the MidWest region, so I hope they look at a realignment for their new GOLD REGIONAL PASS since we are down to what now? Great AMerica, Cedar Point and KI?

I know I sound like a broken record, and plenty will chime in to disagree, but this is why I always wait until closer to the beginning of the season to decide on what pass to buy. I’d rather know what I’m getting into as opposed to things changing and potentially overspending on perks, etc.

It's kind of surreal that two legacy Cedar Fair parks, Worlds of Fun and Valleyfair (the one that provided the "fair" part of the "Cedar Fair"), will no longer be associated with Cedar Point.

Likewise it is strange to have one of the original Six Flags parks, Six Flags St. Louis (originally Six Flags Over Mid-America), no longer in the Six Flags chain.

I didnt purchase this year - I bought during the all parks for 19.99 if you buy at crappy SixFlags Over GA promo LOL. I jkust think they need to look at the regions and make sure there is an even distrbution of parks and experiences. It feel like EAST is pretty heavy on larger parks

INTERESTING.........

What I don't see is what happens with the staff....do they transition to EPR employment for 2026 or do they remain under Six Flags?

I do wonder if there is any agreement (unknown via release) if there are any ride relocations being planned.

Such an interesting happening.

Is my Dining Pass / Fast Lane / Photo Pass / Drink Plan still valid?

Details on how these programs will be handled are still being worked through and information will be shared prior to completion of the sale of these seven parks. Per the Terms and Conditions of your dining plan, participating locations and menus are subject to change. Consistent with that provision, we are updating the participating parks for the 2026 season to reflect the new Six Flags portfolio. To ensure you are receiving fair value for your dining plan purchase, we are providing you with a $10 credit to be used in F&B at your home park this season.

So- are these parks going to have their all-season fast lanes and dining plans ripped away?

Not happy about this one considering EPR currently owns my new home park of Wild Waves.... I think the last time WW got a new ride was 2011 and that was a kiddy flat ride. They "can't afford to" fix rides that break and as soon as the light rail moved in now they are shutting down because the property became valuable for condos. EPR is a horrible management company that only looks to extract whatever they can from the parks before running them into the ground and eventually selling the property if/when it becomes profitable to do so

I was super surprised to see the combined attendance for these parks it is literally nothing at all. 4.5 million is a decent amount, but I would be more interested in what there margins look like. If they have razor thin margins already I doubt we will see much investment in the parks. Hopefully, these parks will be well taken care of. I like to think that this fate is better then just shutting down these parks.

At a minimum they will get long slow painful deaths which is better for us than just shutting them down now. Best case scenario they actually perform better

Not for this year.

If that's true, which they're refusing to confirm or deny, maybe they should say that instead of "we can change whatever we want whenever we want, but here's $10 to go away".
