Looks like there's a survey flag in the fourth photo. Could this fit the bill for a family thrill attraction? :P

I 100% agree! I think it would be perfect for that plot of land. I can picture it just towering over the back half of Action Zone as you walk in.

I think either a Wild Mouse or a thrilling flat ride could go there, but I don't think we'll see its replacement until after next year. The timing of its demolition seems to line up more with the last of the forced ride removals than the planned ones.

It could still be possible. Looking at an older video from Amusement Insiders, Canada's Wonderland's Xtreme Skyflyer was removed in early March 2024, while ours was removed around mid-late March. Mind you, theirs was removed because of a major coaster that was going to be built for the following year.

I would love a Screamin Swing but According to Tower Topics, Zamperla is already on Mason notice of commencement, so S&S is probably out at this point.

That NOC was filed last fall and had nothing to do with 2026. It was "labeled 2024 and 2025 additions and modifications" for example the one filed in 2018 for what became Orion was "2018, 2019, and 2020 additions and modifications"

That, and companies usually stay on Notice of Commencements even after their projects were completed. (like B&M and GCI) Zamperla could've been on there because of Cargo Loco and Sol Spin.

Flat ride sounds like a "thrilling family addition" I just want that next coaster so bad and it better have inversions

I just cannot believe for the life of me why they would add another flat ride in Action Zone. That grassy aera behind the outdoor theater behind Diamondback would be so cool to see a new flat there.

So seeing this section today I also noticed how much the area just needs an upgrade.  A spinning coaster at that location for family's would be a nice complment to The Bat as a tween step.  Also it may bring more people to that area and renew The Bat's ridership.

I think it could be the family thrill addition they were teasing about last year, I'm guessing a coaster, but we'll see, we have plenty of time still to see if they're going to continue working on this area,, if they do that is a sign for something to come here in 2026, and seeing a flag is already in place, it's pointing to it.

I think the Bats days are numbered and Iron Dragon is just a few years behind it

I like it. How about having the exit be through the gift shop like other legacy CF coasters.

They already have the coasters gift shop there. Banshee gift shop was turned into an arcade.  Mystic Timbers has no gift shop, nor does Onion or The Beast ( pop up market is more like it).

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think Valravn was the last Cedar Fair coaster to exit through a gift shop. I was thinking they already have Coaster Connections as a gift shop, so they could just have merch for the new ride in there as well as the Emporium on International Street.

Technically I think Yukon Striker does. Rapterra exits through a gift shop and so will AlpenFury.

Ik, but imo I like exiting through a gift shop. The shop is already there so why not have it exit through Coaster Connection?

Gotcha, I didn't understand that you were routing it this way. It makes sense to use existing infrastructure and they could have the photo booth there as well. And it could bring a much needed cosmetic boost to that building.

However, a wild mouse is a minor coaster, so I don't think they would put much effort into it.

I'm in the camp of no spinning coasters please. I do not do super spiny stuff. And for me personally, I realize I do not speak for the trees, but as a longtime fan of Xtreme Skyflyer, I would really hate to see it replaced with something I simply cannot ride. A Screamin' Swing would be ideal as I love those things like most of you, but by the sounds of it that may not be what goes there.

I will again say I just hope that whatever takes place there will be something worthy of that plot. I have a lot of great memories with Xtreme Skyflyer and I am hoping to be able to make many more there.

I will also say that I would rather see the "family thrill attraction" go in that plot vs Vortex's. That land is sacred ground

I got the opportunity to a preview day to Universal's Epic Universe on Thursday, April 17th . . the new park and all 5 sections are great.  But I would love to see a Mack like the Stardust Racers either in either Action Zone or The Vortex spot.  It's an amazing ride and I easily put it up there to VelociCoaster as far as intensity but would say it has more airtime.  You could almost flip a coin to which you think is better.

Stardust Racers is a great ride and would immediately be a fan favorite at KI.  Not sure if KI can budget a duel coaster, but it is a people eater with 2 trains going on both sides.  Love it . . hope we can get Mack like this one since it seems we'll never get an Intamin.
